The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and news updates for the week of December 5 tease that some major drama is about to unfold. It just wouldn’t be the holidays without some family conflict. Traci (Beth Maitland) will hope that she can ease the tension between her brothers, but that’s not going to be an easy task.
Billy (Jason Thompson) will probably be on board with patching things up, but Jack (Peter Bergman) will continue to drag his feet. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Traci will push Billy and Jack together. She’ll want them to resolve their issues and let it go.
Instead, Jack will push Billy’s buttons. He still thinks he deserves some revenge for Billy’s part in the affair. Y&R fans can expect Jack to make a bold move this week. Jack will want Billy to feel just a hint of the pain he’s been dealing with. He’s not quite ready to move past this just yet.
Elsewhere, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) won’t be in a forgiving mood either. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Travis (Michael Roark) will reach out to Victoria repeatedly. He can’t accept that their relationship is really over. Travis will want one more chance to prove himself.
Victoria will likely contend that she’s given Travis too many chances already. She’s paying the price for trusting Travis when her instincts told her to run. Victoria will probably tell Travis that they can’t go back.
Victoria might urge Travis to be completely honest with the woman he chooses to date next. It’s the only way Travis will ever have a lasting, lifelong romance. While Travis deals with his heartbreak, Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will struggle with worry. She’ll keep a secret from Michael (Christian LeBlanc) as they celebrate their anniversary.
Lauren will have serious concerns about Fenmore’s projected profits. Michael will sense that something’s up. He’ll urge Lauren to come clean about whatever is bothering her. Will Lauren share her fears or stay tight-lipped for the time being? Stay tuned to see where this storyline is headed next.
Other Y&R spoilers say Dylan (Steve Burton) will have to make some tough choices. Michael will inform Dylan that they could use Christian’s allergic reaction against Nick (Joshua Morrow) in court. He’ll argue that it shows Nick was an irresponsible parent.
Dylan won’t be sure he wants to play dirty. He’s just hoping to secure some visits with the boy he used to call his son. Still, this could be a way to make that happen. Dylan will be truly torn, but that’s not the only thing that will be on his mind this week.
Sharon (Sharon Case) will also push Dylan to let her divorce him. She’ll believe she’s going to sink Dylan’s last shot at being in Christian’s life. Once Dylan makes his decisions, court will resume and the judge will deliver a verdict.
