The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Dylan (Steve Burton) will struggle to let go of his little boy. His world was turned upside down when he found out Sully is actually Christian. Dylan can’t believe that he’s facing another loss. It seems like he never has any luck when it comes to children.
Avery (Jessica Collins) had a miscarriage and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) lied about Connor’s (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) paternity. This time Dylan finally thought he had the perfect family. He was truly living the dream.
Unfortunately, it all turned into a nightmare once Sharon (Sharon Case) revealed the devastating truth. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Dylan will refuse to give up. He’ll try to find a solution to the problem he’s dealing with.
It’s not going to be easy thanks to Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) current view of Sharon. Nick won’t be willing to forgive anytime soon. Nevertheless, Dylan will hope that Nick will make Christian his main concern.
Y&R spoilers say Dylan will propose a plan to give all of them time with the baby. He’ll think joint custody would be in Christian’s best interest. Sharon and Dylan are the only parents this kid has ever known. Christian probably won’t do well if he’s ripped from them entirely.
Of course, Dylan may admit he also has selfish reasons for this arrangement. He just can’t bear to lose his “son.” It looks like Dylan will ask for Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) help with his battle. Nick will likely do the same. They’ll both want Nikki’s support on this.
Nikki won’t be sure if she should side with Dylan or Nick. However, she’ll definitely know who to blame for the drama. The Young and the Restless spoilers say an epic confrontation is brewing between Nikki and Sharon. Their relationship has always faced rough patches, but this one will really take the cake.
Once all arguments have been heard, what will Nick decide to do? Will he go along with the joint custody idea? Nick may suggest that he’ll share Christian temporarily. He might want to ease Christian out of that home. Then again, Nick might stick to his guns and insist that he deserves to be his son’s sole caregiver.
Whatever happens, you can bet that more strife is on the way for Dylan and Sharon. Their marriage is quickly falling apart. Since Dylan’s exit is looming, we have to wonder what’s next for him. If Nick basically cuts Dylan out of the picture, it could lead to some dark moments.
Dylan could fall into a deep depression. Who knows what he might do in that state? Dylan could try to harm himself before seeking treatment somewhere. Even if Dylan keeps it together, he may feel like there’s nothing left for him in Genoa City. Without Sully, Dylan just won’t see a future there.
Dylan certainly can’t trust Sharon now. He might decide that he needs to end the marriage and start fresh in a different town. We’ll give you updates as other news comes in on this storyline.
