The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Jack Takes On Hilary - Blackmailer Makes Bold Move to Gain Upper Hand

“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Devon (Bryton James) will have a tough decision to make on upcoming new episodes this week. It’s obvious from tomorrow’s episode, Friday, April 8, that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has no intention of backing down on her plans for Genoa City domination.

Devon won’t want to choose sides, but he may end up throwing his support behind Hilary. Perhaps Devon will think of it as a “happy wife, happy life” kind of situation.

Unfortunately, more trouble is brewing. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that Hilary will score a spot on the board of the foundation after all. Hilary will be feeling pretty pleased with herself until Ashley (Eileen Davidson) steps in. That impulsive blackmail scheme is going to blow up in Hilary’s face.

Jack (Peter Bergman) will be outraged when he gets updates on Hilary’s actions. Neil (Kristoff St. John) will feel the same way about this despicable news. He’ll confront Hilary and scold her for taking advantage of Ashley’s medical issues. Talk about kicking someone while she’s down! Hilary is as cold as ice.

Nevertheless, it sounds like Hilary is just getting started. Y&R spoilers say Hilary will try to gain the upper hand with Neil, too. Maybe Hilary will remind Neil of everything he put her through. We can’t forget that Neil followed Hilary on her honeymoon and played a role in her tumble off a cliff.

Hilary was in a coma for months. She’d probably still be comatose if it weren’t for Dr. Neville’s (Michael E. Knight) groundbreaking treatment. It was a terrible ordeal that Neil would rather put behind him.

Y&R spoilers know that Hilary could easily let the whole world in on Neil’s dirty little secret if she wanted to. Neil would likely face charges. As for the foundation, this could be a PR nightmare. It’s definitely not the kind of buzz they’re looking for.

It seems Hilary will manage to come out on top once again. Hilary wasn’t kidding when she said she wanted to run this town. It’s clear that Hilary is achieving her goals, but there are sure to be consequences. Sooner or later, someone’s bound to turn the tables on Hilary.

Stick with the CBS soap to see how long this power trip will last.
