“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for next week’s epsiode, Monday, May 9, tease that Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will spar over her blackmail scheme. Devon won’t appreciate the fact that Hilary has been lying to his face.
Hilary will feel like Neil (Kristoff St. John) has it coming after what he did to her. Neil will interrupt their argument and inform them that Cane (Daniel Goddard) is in the loop.
Later, Neil will try to explain everything to Cane in the park. Cane will be shocked by what he’s hearing. How could Neil let Devon be a suspect while Hilary was stashed away in the boathouse? Neil will reply that he’s sorry and he tried to make things right.
Cane will insist that he has to tell Lily (Christel Khalil) the truth. They’ve agreed that they shouldn’t keep secrets from each other.
Cane will find Lily and give her the news. She’ll think it’s unbelievable that Neil would do something like this. Meanwhile, Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Dylan (Steve Burton) will frantically try to find Max (Jared Breeze).
At the lab, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will open up to Ashley (Eileen Davidson) about the struggles she’s facing in her relationship.
Abby will fear that Stitch won’t be able to handle what Max did to their baby. He may put his son above his marriage. Max will eavesdrop nearby until Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) finds him. After Abby exits, Max will rush in and shout that he could go to jail.
Ashley will want Max to slow down and explain what the trouble is.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Max will confess that he made Abby trip on the stairs. He’ll suggest that the whole thing was just a prank, but now he’s afraid. Ashley will offer a reassuring hug and send Max out of the room. She’ll tell Dr. Neville that she thinks Max knew exactly what he was doing. Max is old enough to know the consequences of a fall like that.
He was aware that Abby’s baby could die from the tumble.
Elsewhere, Abby will discover that Max is missing. Stitch will lash out at Abby and state that she shouldn’t pretend she cares. They’ll get into an argument over Max’s mental state. Ashley will call Stitch and fill him in on Max’s whereabouts. Once Stitch heads to the lab, Abby and Dylan won’t be far behind.
When Stitch shows up, Ashley will tell him that Abby seems to be right about Max. She’ll want Stitch to speak with Max alone. He should try to approach this with a doctor’s mindset. In Ashley’s office, Max will reiterate his confession.
Stitch will promise that it won’t change his love for Max.
Max will worry about the police coming after him. He’ll think they should make a break for it. Abby will enter the office and announce that Max isn’t going anywhere.
