“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for the Friday, February 26, episode tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will get a huge shock. When Chelsea demands updates on Victor’s (Eric Braeden) blackmail plot, Adam (Justin Hartley) will decide to tell her the whole story. As Chelsea’s eyes widen, Adam will admit he bribed a technician to change the results of the DNA test for Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) baby. Adam will confess that he’s actually Christian’s father.
Naturally, Chelsea will be angry that Adam kept her out of the loop. She’ll think this was another one of Adam’s idiotic decisions. Adam will explain that it seemed like the best idea at the time. He’ll beg for Chelsea’s forgiveness and open up about the rough time he had after Christian’s death. Chelsea will pull Adam close and state that he’s free of Victor’s grasp.
Of course, we can’t forget that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage are still in the dark. Victor doesn’t want to hurt Nick, but he would undoubtedly reveal the truth if Adam doesn’t play by the rules. Y&R viewers know that Victor values his family, but revenge is always just a smidgen more important to The Moustache.
For now, Nick and Sage will remain oblivious. In fact, they’ll make plans to adopt a new baby. A woman from an adoption agency will speak with Nick and Sage about the possibility. A pregnant teen is in her third trimester and she’s considering giving them her child. Nick will wonder if Sage is ready for this and she’ll assure him that she is. Stay tuned to “The Young and the Restless” to see if the adoption will really happen.
At Crimson Lights, Natalie (Mara McCaffray) will give Billy (Jason Thompson) a flash drive and urge him not to worry. She has another version of PassKey that Victor hasn’t seen. Meanwhile, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) will figure out that Natalie has been working with Billy. He’ll approach Billy about getting in on the scheme.
Billy won’t be interested and he’ll snap Luca’s picture as proof that he’s in town. Luca will claim that he has dirt that could bring down Victor. He’ll hand over a disk that contains evidence of Marco’s (Peter Bergman) time in Genoa City. Later, Billy will confront Jack (Peter Bergman) about it. Jack will insist that he had his reasons for keeping quiet, but Billy will think he’s nothing but a coward.
It sounds like Billy is gearing up for payback. He’s got plenty of ammunition thanks to Natalie and Luca. Will Billy help Phyllis get the vengeance she so desperately wants? Stick with the CBS soap to see if Billy’s knowledge will mean bad news for Victor.
