The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 23, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will demand some answers about what just happened at the Abbott estate. Jack (Peter Bergman) will state that Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) fall down the staircase was simply an accident. Billy will yell that he should stay away, but Jack will want to help.
While Billy calls for an ambulance, Jack will ask if Phyllis can hear him. Dylan (Steve Burton) will show up to find the Abbott brothers bickering. He’ll wonder what went down, so Billy will fill him in on what he witnessed. He won’t think Jack should be anywhere near Phyllis after what he did.
Jack will repeat that this was an accident. He’ll argue that he would never try to harm Phyllis. At the hospital, Phyllis will still be out cold. Summer (Hunter King) will arrive and Jack will give her updates on the ordeal. He’ll assure Summer that he cares about Phyllis’ well-being.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will learn the details of Phyllis’ tumble in the waiting area. In Phyllis’ room, Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will try to calm her once she wakes up. Phyllis will seem frightened as she mutters about Jack. Stitch will quickly decide that Phyllis needs to be sedated.
Meanwhile, Dylan will want to hear Billy’s version of events once more. Stitch will come out and hint that maybe this wasn’t an accident. Phyllis was highly agitated when she awakened. Paul (Doug Davidson) and Dylan will ask Jack a few questions, but he’ll maintain that he’s innocent.
Dylan and Paul will ultimately agree that this was probably a mishap. Ashley will find Billy waiting to go inside Phyllis’ room. He’ll insist that Jack needs to pay for doing this to Phyllis. After Stitch lets Billy in, he’ll take Phyllis’ hand and give her a kiss. Phyllis will open her eyes and Billy will welcome “Sleeping Beauty” back.
Once the press hears about all of this, Jack will face abuse accusations from the public. The situation just keeps getting messier. However, Billy will focus on what’s clear. He wants to be with Phyllis and he’ll do everything he can to make it happen.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will hear some troubling news. At the park, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will mention Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) upcoming date with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). When Kevin shows up, Mariah will urge Faith to go get a doughnut.
Kevin and Mariah will chat privately about Chloe. Mariah will still have concerns about Kevin getting hurt. She’ll bring up the paternity story issues. Kevin will contend that he wants to be part of Chloe’s future.
At the penthouse, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Chloe will discuss Billy’s role in the affair. Chloe will feel sorry for Billy. She’ll argue that he’s constantly blamed when anything comes up. Chelsea will think Billy deserves some blame this time.
Y&R spoilers reveal that Kevin will pick Chloe up for a romantic dinner. They’ll enjoy some cheeseburgers and drinks before sharing a kiss. Back at Chelsea’s place, Mariah will arrive with Faith. Chelsea has asked Faith to spend the night, so the kiddo will head upstairs to get settled in.
Mariah will sit down for some ice cream with Chelsea. They’ll debate whether or not Kevin and Chloe’s relationship is a good idea. Chelsea will think Chloe just needs to determine what’s really important to her. Chloe might turn from her wicked ways, but will her past come back to haunt her? You bet it will!
