Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will share another warm moment with Eric (Greg Vaughan). Since Eric recently decided to take a job at the Horton Center, he’ll be moving back to Salem next week. Jennifer will be excited about a potential future with Eric. She’ll feel like he’s finally beginning to let go of his pain and self-loathing.
Of course, Jennifer knows that Eric is going to have lingering struggles. She’s just happy that he’s moving in the right direction. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Jennifer will talk to Eric about what’s in store for him. She’ll wonder if she might be part of his plans. Jennifer and Eric will end up sharing a kiss during this deep conversation.
Unfortunately, DOOL spoilers say Eric will break Jennifer’s heart. After their smooch, he’ll reiterate that he can’t be with her. Eric wants to concentrate on fixing his mess of a life. He can’t be responsible for supporting someone else’s needs. Eric just isn’t in a great place and that wouldn’t be beneficial for their romance.
Will Jennifer accept Eric’s decision or continue her efforts to persuade him? We’ll have to wait and see, but Eric has plenty of other Salemites to interact with. First, Days spoilers reveal that Eric will decide it’s time to seek forgiveness from Maggie (Suzanne Rogers).
Daniel’s (Shawn Christian) death was devastating for his mother. Maggie still cries when she thinks about how her son’s life was cut short. However, Maggie is a very forgiving woman. After Eric comes to her with a heartfelt apology, she’ll promise that she doesn’t hold his mistakes against him.
Likewise, Brady (Eric Martsolf) understands that Eric regrets his actions. He wishes things could’ve turned out differently, but what’s done is done. All they can do is try to focus on the future. Days spoilers indicate that Brady will meet up with Eric for a hug and some kind words. They’ll revive their bond and attempt to move forward.
Sadly, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) isn’t going to forgive Eric anytime soon. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric will write another letter to his former flame. He might actually send this one instead of stashing it away or ripping it up. Nicole may not be willing to read it – at least not yet. She’s still furious over Eric’s reckless behavior.
Will Eric ever make progress with Nicole? Could he somehow come to her rescue and repair some of the damage to their relationship? We’ll give you updates as more news comes in.
