It’s letter day for the team. As per the president, the team breaks up into groups and works on three requests from the general public that the president handpicked himself. Seth and Jay need to help a man with his dying bees, Kendra gets a death penalty case while Emily works on something special with Aaron, a woman looking for war recognition for her dead husband.

Kendra reports to the president on Alex’s mother’s case. They have problems. It’s the fake bank account and wire transfers that were set up in Alex’s mother’s name. Meanwhile, Hannah is sitting at a St. Luscious bank. She plans to try and open an account in someone else’s name with a certain bank officer. She wants to get to them. She sits with one of the employees who tells her there is no way she can do that. She offers a premium as a bribe to meet the officer but it doesn’t work. He sends her away. A man follows her outside. She confronts him in the alley and gets the name she is looking for.

Kendra and Hannah meet with the man on death row and his son in a separate meeting, collecting facts on the case. They ask the son how they can speak with his sister but he is quick to tell them that is a bad idea. Hannah tells him they need to look into everything if he wants them to help save his father’s life. He agrees to cooperate.

Seth tries to talk to Emily, but she continues to evade him. He finally gets her while she is getting coffee. He needs to know if she told the president about his drug bust. She tells him it is an evolving situation.

Seth and Jay meet with the beekeeper. Jay speaks insects, so he is excited to hear that the bees cannot find their food because of the FAA. Seth and Jay go to the FAA, who is thrilled to meet with them on behalf of the president. They inform the women that they are there for the bees. Her face drops. Not this again. She practicality had to get a restraining order on the bee guy.

Kendra and Hannah track down the daughter of the man on death row. She is strung out and doesn’t want to talk, telling them to go away.

Aaron and Emily meet with the colonel about the woman who would like her dead husband to receive the medal of honor. The colonel admits that the soldier was in the battle they fought in Kandahar. He also shares that he changed the files to show the soldier was doing recon because he doesn’t think he deserves a metal. The soldier seduced his wife and broke up their marriage. Emily talks him into awarding the dead soldier. The colonel agrees but also shares that he will tell the dead soldier’s wife all about his extramarital affair.

Hannah is walking down the street when a car comes out of nowhere and tries to run her over.

Emily and Aaron report to the president. Aaron doesn’t want to award the metal because he would rather leave the wife in the dark about her husband’s affair. Emily disagrees. The president would like to meet with the wife. Before Emily leaves the Oval she shares news about Seth with the president. She tells him she regrets not coming forward sooner. He tells her he already knew. He is disappointed she kept him in the dark. He asks her what she thinks he should do about Seth.

Hannah tracks down the banker. She goes to his home. Someone must have tipped him off because the TV is on and the microwave is running but he is nowhere to be found.

Seth and Jay arrive on the doorstep of the beekeeper. They have learned that the FAA did their part so someone else killed the bees. The wife answers the door. She needs to change quickly. Her husband isn’t home. She goes upstairs. Jay goes through their kitchen. He knows she is the bee killer. He finds royal jelly. He knew he was right.

The president meets with the widow and her son. He tells them in the Oval that their investigation was inconclusive, but he asked them there to give them a flag and to tell the son what a hero his father was.

The beekeeper arrives home. Seth and Jay decide not to rat out the wife and tell them there is no longer a problem with the FAA. The man breaks down and admits that he killed his wife’s roses. She admits she was the one who killed the bees. The two fight. Seth and Jay watch amused before sleeping out the front door.

Kendra meets with the man on death row. He will not be pardoned unless he comes clean. Kendra tells him what she thinks – he is covering for his son. His son tried to buy drugs on the night of the murder and he took the blame. The daughter won’t talk to them because she knows the truth. The man refuses to come clean. He would rather stay in prison for the rest of his life.

Seth comes to Emily. He needs to see the president. He wants to give his notice. Emily tells him no. The president won’t accept it. Emily admits she told the president to fire him but he won’t. They kiss.

The president is stuck in the death row case. He doesn’t know what to do. He decides to stop the man from receiving the death penalty but if he wants to get out of jail he needs to come clean.

Charlie has a lead on the car that tried to run Hannah over. The son of the man on death row tried to kill her. She heads to the garage to find the son. She tells him she knows he was the one to kill the man all those years ago and maybe his father covered for him then but he is in trouble now. She cuffs him.

THE END!
