Eva Longoria is making it no secret that she and her husband Jose Baston are looking to start a family real soon. In fact, the Hollywood star recently hinted that she’s ready to get pregnant and even joked about her noticeable weight gain.
Eva and Jose will soon be celebrating their first wedding anniversary together this summer. The couple for the most part have been very low-key, with many media outlets wondering what exactly is going on behind closed doors in their marriage. But according to Eva, they are enjoying their new life together so much so that they are still in their honeymoon stage. She even told Entertainment Tonight that her social media followers will be the first ones to know if she plans on making any future personal announcements.
Just recently, Eva even debunked her pregnancy rumors by sharing an Instagram story with her fans. She wrote, “I saw some pictures of myself [looking] really fat on a boat. I have to tell you, all I did was eat cheese. So that’s the news of the day. I’m not pregnant, just eating a lot of cheese, a lot of wine, a lot of pancakes.”
If Eva is planning on getting pregnant in the next several months, she’ll have to find a way to hide the pregnancy on the small screen. She has a recurring role on the hit Fox musical drama, ‘Empire’ and is working on her new sitcom, ‘Type A.’ The workplace sitcom will focus on corporate consultants who pick up all the dirty work that others refuse to do. Many eyewitnesses even said that Eva looked rather plump while she was filming ‘Type A’ back in March.
What’s more, a lot of fans are surprised that Eva is even opening up and making jokes about her pregnancy plans and supposed ‘baby food bump.’ For the longest time the Hollywood actress wasn’t seen with Jose Baston, fueling reports of a possible rift in their marriage. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. Clearly, Jose just doesn’t want to be in the spotlight with his famous wife. But whether or not the couple start a family together remains to be seen.
