General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that being nice to Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) on the red carpet might put hunky detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) into a “Fatal Attraction” type scenario when the pretty nurse proves to be nuttier than anyone anticipated. We now know Amy went to high school with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins).
Long time watchers of GH know that Maxie was a bad, bad girl in high school and we recently learned that she bullied and body shamed Amy when she blocked her from the cheerleading squad. Amy has a crush on Dillon, too, but it’s Nathan’s kindness on the red carpet at the Nurses Ball that triggered Amy’s full focus and soon she’ll be in stalker mode and Nathan will be alarmed.
Amy’s mysterious second job that she mentioned at the Nurses Ball is part of the ominous events about to unfold. Amy told Nathan at the ball that he did more than he’ll ever know by rushing to her aid on the red carpet and pretending to be her date. Amy is using Nathan’s photo as a front for her advice column on the internet. Nathan is uncomfortable with being the face of her column.
But that’s not all Amy has been doing online with Nathan’s photo. Amy will soon be full-on cyber stalking Nathan and taking advantage of the fact that Maxie is out of town. Amy’s internet activity won’t go unnoticed for too long and Nathan must confront her about posting pics of them as if they’re a couple. Amy will make excuses and promises to take everything down but we all know she won’t do it and there’s more to come on this.
Amy sinks her hooks into Nathan and pulls him into circumstances that no one will see coming. Could nutty Amy actually tempt Nathan while Maxie is gone and he’s all alone and feeling abandoned? Maxie needs to get back to Port Charles soon and save her man from Amy’s obsessive attraction. Just how far will Amy go with Nathan?
Posting pics of them on the internet together and pretending that they’re a couple is one thing, but Amy’s cyberstalking could turn into real life stalking. Amy has two agendas when it comes to Nathan. First is she’s single and he’s one of the most gorgeous guys in Port Charles who happens to have been abandoned by his wife, so that makes him a temptation.
Second is that Amy has some serious wounds from high school with Maxie and Amy is holding a very understandable grudge. If Amy could break up Nathan and Maxie and win Nathan for herself, that would be a big deal for Amy’s problematic self-esteem. Is there any chance Nathan might fall for the nutty nurse if she worships him at every turn while he’s all alone without Maxie?
You never know. Amy is gorgeous, has a bright personality, and worships the ground Nathan walks on. Since Nathan is hurt because Maxie hasn’t come home, you never know how this will go. It would sure shake things up if Nathan fell for Amy because he’s in a vulnerable position.
