General Hospital (GH) spoilers from a hot new ABC Nurses Ball promo shows there is danger at the Nurses Ball that puts lives at risk and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) life could go up in flames by the end of the week, quite literally. Will Ava meet a fiery end as Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) did? But Ava isn’t the only one in danger this week. There are party crashers that menace the crowd and unlikely allies emerge.
We know that Jake Webber (Hudson West) plans to unleash the Chimera at the Nurses Ball according to Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) programming, but there’s a third party at play who wants the Chimera for himself. Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) is working for someone that wants the Chimera at all costs and will try and steal it at the Nurses Ball. But who is this third party bent on evil?
GH spoilers predict it’s Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) since he’s in charge of the DVX cartel and that’s who Alex worked for in the past. Some henchmen invade the ball, working for the big boss that wants the Chimera, and they plan to steal it from Jake’s little hands. One of the bad guys puts a gun on Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) as shown in the promo video and her husband snaps.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) attacks the baddie while Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) takes on another. One of the henchmen moves to attack Jake and steal the Chimera and Jason won’t have his son at risk. GH spoilers also tease Franco (Roger Howarth) will leap into the fray. These bad guys crashed the wrong party because there’s a former serial killer, former hitman, and former mercenary in the crowd.
Ava also has a more personal crisis at the ball when Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) rushes up to her and warns, “He knows everything.” It’s Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) that figures out what was done to Morgan’s meds, but it will be Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that come after Ava to make her pay. Sonny and Carly put aside their differences and attack.
Sonny and Carly corner Ava in a warehouse on the pier and Ava screams “no” at them and throws a lamp that ignites something flammable. Sonny and Carly can only stare in horror as fire traps Ava on the other side of the warehouse with nowhere to run. CarSon wanted Ava to pay for what she did to Morgan, but if she dies in a Pier 54 fire, that’s a terrible fate to contemplate.
GH rumors have run rampant about whether Maura West would exit the show, so she might burn up or cheat death and get away only to return in the future – as she’s done before. Also in the exciting new GH Nurses Ball promo, we see musical numbers galore with Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) strutting their stuff together.
Nurse Amy (Risa Dorken) performs with Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth), Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpy) and they give a lift to tiny superstar Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) who joins their number. The Nurses Ball kicks off today and it looks like it will end with a bang as a brawl breaks out at the ball.
