General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Tyler Christopher slams a fake interview that claimed that he would never return to GH. Tyler’s fans have campaigned for his come back to the ABC soap opera for the past few months so the idea that he wouldn’t consider a short stint on the series was upsetting to hear.
The false interview made up by a blogger puzzled many of the General Hospital fans. They didn’t think it sounded like Christopher, but, they knew he was unable to come to a new contract agreement which led to his departure from General Hospital and eventual hire by his former boss, Ron Carlivati, the new showrunner at Days of Our Lives. Since Nikolas was presumed dead, GH fans hope that he will reconsider and return, at some point.
Tyler Christopher completely shut down the rumors that he wouldn’t ever return to the ABC daytime drama. He claimed the bogus article “completely false.”
Tyler has a new soap opera gig at Days of Our Lives. At this point, DOOL hasn’t revealed his character’s name, only confirmed the GH alum was cast on the show. Many loyal viewers hope that he will play E.J DiMera. However, Days could have cast him as Alexander Kiriakis, Nicholas Alamain or even an all-new character.
At any rate, Tyler Christopher took time out on social media to reassure his GH fans that he did not shut the door on returning to the ABC soap opera. He appreciates his time on General Hospital as it helped him grow as an actor.
After playing Nikolas for over 20 years, his alter ego became part of who he is as a person.
