General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) will reveal to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is out of town for work. After losing her Crimson gig, Maxie had to look farther afield since she got fired from the only fashion game in town.
General Hospital would be crazy not to take advantage of Maxie’s absence and Nathan’s innate hotness to stir up some trouble while she’s gone. Otherwise, Nathan will spend the three months of Kirsten Storm’s leave of absence twiddling his thumbs and being a third wheel to Dante and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).
One thing we know is this. There is no way Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson) is dead. There was a body found and then ID’d as her but Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had a hand in that mess with the Canadian government that resulted in a death certificate.
Claudette’s “death” was the only thing that allowed Nathan and Maxie to get married. General Hospital spoilers say Claudette has been in hiding, scared of Valentin because she stole Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) from him. But now that Valentin situation with Charlotte is sorted, Claudette may feel safe.
With Claudette alive and back in Port Charles, that means Nathan and Maxie are not legally married. That, on top of the fact that Maxie skipped town for work and left Nathan alone and vulnerable, could spell trouble. General Hospital spoilers say Claudette could pick back up pursuing Nathan behind Maxie’s back.
Remember Claudette still had a thing for Nathan – she had their wedding photo in her suitcase and would unpack it and moon over it, holding it to her chest. Claudette knew she messed up cheating on Nathan and this could be her chance to rewrite history if Nathan is feeling abandoned.
General Hospital spoilers say Nathan would be glad she’s alive since he was upset to discover she was dead, and that’s something Claudette could take advantage of to make a move on him. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) was also sad about her “death” but with Maxie gone, it seems more likely she’ll go after Nathan.
Can Nathan withstand the temptation of Claudette’s wiles without Maxie there beside him? Nathan will be feeling lonely without Maxie and the news that they’re not married will hit him hard. There’s also this – Nathan is a decent guy and lately General Hospital has been tarnishing the good guys.
They’ve written Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher) as the culprit in the Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) mess when he’s always been one of the few decent guys around. Meanwhile, GH is cleaning up bad guys like Franco (Roger Howarth) and Valentin – and even turned Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) away from being Stone Cold.
It seems that they’re flipping the script on so many characters that it’s totally possible Nathan could fall in bed with Claudette. That would certainly create some drama and a reason for Maxie to get her butt back to Port Charles to stake her claim on Nathan and vanquish Claudette once and for all. What do you think?
