General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that in the coming weeks Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) will get a big surprise. General Hospital buzz from a reliable Twitter source is that Hayden will soon discover that she is pregnant with Finn’s (Michael Easton) baby. This, no doubt, will be unexpected news for them both but we have to wonder how Hayden will respond to this life-changing shocker.
As General Hospital viewers have seen, Hayden’s boyfriend, Dr Hamilton Finn has been battling a drug addiction for quite some time and is still struggling with the urge to return to old habits when it comes to his drug of choice, Zen-Zen. It appears that Finn is succeeding at getting clean but with Hayden giving him space, Finn has found no reason to stay clean but continues to work through the urges and the withdrawal symptoms. Perhaps, Hayden will be able to give him the best reason of all to stay clean- a baby – his baby!
General Hospital fans can only wonder if Hayden will keep this BIG news to herself in fear that he is still addicted and worry about having a father to her child that is in a constant battle with drug addiction. Hayden may decide to not tell Finn and separate herself from Finn all together and raise her baby as a single mom.
Will she take a page out of Olivia Falconeri’s book and lie to the father and claim that it is Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) baby to prevent Finn from learning the truth in an attempt to protect her child? That’s very possible! Then again, Hayden may decide that a child may be the one thing that can motivate Finn into getting his act together and fighting his addiction with much more conviction.
There is no telling what Hayden will decide but General Hospital viewers know that this would not be the first time a mother has kept a father away from their baby in an effort to protect their child.
