General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, June 16 reveal that Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) finds out she and Jake Webber (Hudson West) are safe and Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) can stop guarding them. That’s when Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) comes to talk to her. Hayden shares the big news that she’s pregnant with Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) child.
Liz is stunned but also thrilled for her sister. Let’s hope her pregnancy is healthy! Hayden’s former stepson Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) is hassling his grandmother Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) about his dad’s death. General Hospital spoilers say it seems that Spencer being under the same roof as another Cassadine kid has rubbed him the wrong way. Spencer asks Laura if she’s forgotten Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher).
Spencer reminds Laura that his dad didn’t die that long ago. Spencer has a vendetta against Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and it seems Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) might be feeling some heat. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) sits down with her daughter to ask if Spencer has been mean to Charlotte. What will Lulu discover and how can they deal with this?
Over at the MetroCourt, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) finds a stressed out Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) in crisis. Sam’s had a premonition that Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) is in danger and the thing is, she’s right. At that moment, Jason is brawling with Costa Phillipos (Eddie Davenport) on the roof of the hospital. Kevin notices Sam is distressed and talks to her. She says she has a feeling something is wrong.
After their encounter, Kevin heads over to meet Laura – he whisks her away from the family tension at home, but where does that leave angsty Spencer? Will Lulu have to juggle the Cassadine kids and send them to separate corners? General Hospital spoilers reveal that it soon becomes apparent that Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are in over their heada with all this family drama, particularly after Laura takes off.
Back at the hospital, Jason demands the truth from Costa when he finally gets the upper hand. Jason assumed Costa was working for Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) but with her dead and gone, maybe someone else is behind all this. Jason loses control for a moment and it seems like Costa might send him tumbling off the General Hospital roof but then Jason turns things around and Costa’s life is on the line.
GH buzz is that what Jason learns from Costa promises to change everything and lets him know the danger is far from done. Over at the coffee shop, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) presses on Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) to open up to him about what’s going on with her brother that’s causing her money problems. Amy tells Nathan to butt out and says she doesn’t have to tell him anything about her life.
Nathan nags and pleads and Amy will finally confess why she’s so desperate for the Man Landers book deal. Nathan agrees to help out – he’s such a good guy. Too bad Nathan will have reason to regret his generosity soon enough.
