General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal since Robert Palmer Watkins, who portrays Dillon Quartermaine has been let go from the ABC daytime drama we can expect a new boyfriend for Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin). The firing/dismissal came as a shock as much to GH fans as it did to the actor himself and it is clear he will be deeply missed!
GH’s Quartermaine family seems to be getting smaller and smaller with only Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), Ned (Wally Kurth), Jason Morgan (currently-Billy Miller) and Michael Quartermaine Corinthos (Chad Duell) remaining.
Through the years, we have watched Dillon grow into the intelligent and talented man we see on our screens now. He has been through some tough relationships, including his brief marriage to the now deceased Georgie Jones (Lindze Letherman) and affair that let to unrequited love with Lulu Spencer (then-Julie Marie Berman, now-Emme Rylan).
General Hospital spoilers tease that Dillon seems to adore his girlfriend, Kiki Jerome, but now that he is leaving the series, one has to wonder if she will rekindle her romance with Michael Corinthos. After all Kiki needs a new love interest and there are very few eligible men in Port Charles.
Initially General Hospital fans, did not like Kiki with Michael for the simple fact that she was cheating on his brother, Morgan “Captain” Corinthos (Bryan Craig) at the time – but now that Morgan is deceased, would fans be more willing to accept him with Kiki?
Of course, like any daytime drama, there seems to be nothing more entertaining than two people vying for the same person’s heart. In this case, Michael’s current love, Nelle Hayes Benson (Chloe Lanier) is still a character who isn’t liked by many and some ABC viewers would love to see Kiki and Nelle fight over Michael and see who ends up with the Quartermaine/Corinthos heir.
Based on the behavior we have seen Nelle exhibit in Port Charles poor Kiki better watch her back! General Hospital spoilers tease that this would be one hot and scary love triangle!
General Hospital spoilers remind you that although Kiki cheated on Morgan, she was a decent person to the rest of the family. Kiki never lied, stole nor drugged anyone close to Michael like Nelle did. In fact, Michael’s mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), took Kiki under her wing a long time ago, often being more of a mother to her than her own mother, Ava Jerome (Maura West).
