General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) could be getting in over his head. Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) clearly doesn’t want Nathan to know about his biological father. She’s gone to great lengths to keep this information from him. Dr. O may worry that Nathan will get caught in a perilous situation if he tracks his dad down.
Nevertheless, Nathan isn’t going to let this go. Now that his suspicions are stirred up, Nathan can’t rest until he knows the truth. General Hospital spoilers say Griffin (Matt Cohen) will confirm that Dr. Obrecht is lying. Nathan asked him to check out the medical records and report back, so Griffin will admit that Dr. O cooked up something bogus.
After Nathan confronts Dr. Obrecht about her lies, she’ll confess that she indeed tried to deceive her son. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Dr. O will offer an explanation and beg Nathan to drop all this. She certainly wouldn’t want to put Nathan in harm’s way, but the real concern could soon be his family.
If Nathan reaches out to his biological father, he could be putting Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and the baby in danger as well. Dr. Obrecht seems to think Nathan’s father could tighten a sinister grip. If that’s the case, Nathan should also be worried about his offspring.
We all know how soap villains like to target and groom the younger generation. If Nathan won’t carry on a devious legacy, the baddie grandpa could plot to swipe the kid. General Hospital spoilers say Nathan and Maxie will definitely face some chaos down the road. Their little one is all they can talk about right now. They’ll inevitably deal with major baby drama by the end of all this.
This storyline is pretty straightforward at the moment. Nathan wants to learn his father’s identity. It’s as simple as that. However, things could get a lot more complicated in the weeks ahead. GH has a tendency to connect stories in unexpected ways. Could this hot plot tie in with the twin saga?
It’s possible that Nathan’s father is the traitor or even the person who sent the manuscript to Faison (Anders Hove). After all, there’s no proof that the The Severed Branch relates to Drew (Billy Miller). Nathan was sort of a severed branch his own family tree. It’s be interesting if GH provided a link here.
