General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) has no idea the trouble her new nanny job at Wyndemere will cause her. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and others are focused on Nelle and could have her tripping up. Remember Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) warned Nelle not to mess up – or else – and she might find herself on the evil Greek’s bad side soon.
On Tuesday’s (March 28) new GH episode, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) fills in Lulu on the dirt she got from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Sonny was not happy to learn that Nelle is sticking around Port Charles and landed a job in the household of one of the few guys in town that’s as dangerous as himself. But it seems unlikely that Sonny revealed that he slept with Nelle. Not that Laura would care.
Sonny warned Laura that Nelle was bad news but he probably assumed Laura was asking to protect her granddaughter Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). But, of course not. General Hospital spoilers say that the Spencer women are more concerned about what they want than protecting Charlotte from a bad baby sitter. After what Sonny told Laura, why isn’t Lulu calling Valentin to tell him to fire Nelle?
Instead, Laura and Lulu discuss how they can use Nelle to their advantage. Rather than getting the shady chick away from her daughter, Lulu will conspire with her mother to use the ethically challenged Nelle for their own means. Lulu cannot possibly play by the rules for six months and stick with the supervised visitation while getting to know her daughter. That seems outrageous to her.
Lulu won’t listen – and neither will Laura – even though every voice of reason around them has told them they think the judge made the right decision. That came from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Dr Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) and Dr Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). All the calm people around them recognize the wisdom of the ruling but General Hospital spoilers leak that the Spencer ladies won’t behave.
Lulu will approach Nelle and make a concerted effort to befriend her. And Nelle is ripe for the plucking. Consider that Nelle has zero friends in Port Charles aside from Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) who’s an employer, not a pal. Everyone Nelle knows in town hates her including the entire Corinthos clan. Nelle is desperate for a friend, so when Lulu comes knocking, Nelle may be open to it.
The problem is, Valentin won’t like Lulu getting close to Charlotte’s nanny – or will he? Valentin is clever and usually several steps ahead of those around him. Valentin might order Nelle to play double agent and report back to him on what Lulu is up to, asks, and wants to know. This could help Valentin control the flow of information to Lulu without her realizing it.
On the other hand, some General Hospital spoilers indicate that when Nelle goes snooping for Lulu she will discover some secret info that Valentin doesn’t want revealed. In fact Nelle will unwittingly come across a horrifying secret from Valentin’s past that he will do anything to suppress. In that scenario it could be lights out for Nelle… or Lulu!
There seems little chance that Nelle would blab Valentin’s secrets to Lulu given how scared she is of her new boss (and rightly so). Lulu’s plans lately have fallen flat so it seems likely that her effort to be Nelle’s new BFF will also fail even if Nelle wants to be friends with her. What do you think?
