General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest there will be another miraculous resurrection in the Cassadine family – but this time, it will be a family member many, many fans adore: Nikolas Cassadine! General Hospital spoilers also reveal that Nik’s return from the dead isn’t shocking all his loved ones as it appears his son, Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel), knew all along.
There have been plenty of clues along the way, especially with Spencer’s history of hiding things. It is very plausible Nikolas really is alive! General Hospital fans, think about it for a moment – Spencer was growing up an only child and a lot of his actions proved he hated that fact, so why would he, when his father died abandon his only living relatives, his grandmother, Laura Webber (Genie Francis), his aunt and uncle Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dante (Dominic Falconeri)?
Spencer moved to the boarding school that both he and his father has discussed. Why would be go there after his father was supposedly murdered, unless the whole thing was a ruse and Spencer was the only one who knew about it. General Hospital is famous for its resurrections for one reason or another but if Nikolas Cassadine were to return now, he’d be tied to so many people and stories.
Let’s begin with his estranged wife, Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). Their relationship was very much about love and hate, but deep down you knew they connected. How will Nik react when he finds that Hayden has not only moved on with a new man, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), but has truly fallen in love and is now carrying his child?
General Hospital’s mob princess, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Prince Cassadine had really begun a relationship with some very intense feelings so its entirely possible Nik’s reason for coming back is Ava’s critical health situation.
No matter how much Nikolas claims to be honorable with his Cassadine blood running through his veins, he also is part Spencer. Nik will want nothing more than to go after his Uncle Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) for not only claiming the Cassadine fortune as his own but for hiding and then abducting his sister, Lulu’s daughter, Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez).
General Hospital buzz is that Spencer’s return to Port Charles and declaration of vengeance against Valentin is just the prelude to a much bigger and more powerful Cassadine returning.
