General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that nutty Nina Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) won’t let anyone mess with her husband or step-daughter and goes to war with the two other women in their lives. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had better watch their backs because Nina is coming for them.
Valentin Cassadine (James Stuart) has a decades-old crush on Anna. He was a hideous beast nerd at the WSB academy whom Anna rejected. After Anna recalls why his eyes look familiar, she gets a few tears in hers. Turns out Anna was a jerk to Valentin who was not quite so pretty back in the day. He loved her and she spurned him.
Nina already heard Valentin’s lament about the woman in the photo and she won’t be pleased to learn it’s Anna and that her newly-minted hubby might still carry a torch for the British spy. Anna is shaken up by her recovered memories and not quite as keen on taking him down now that she understands a bit more about his past and motivation.
Nina doesn’t want Anna anywhere near Valentin in case that old torch flames up and gets hot again. Are we heading into love triangle territory with Anna, Valentin and Nina? That would be glorious. Nina sets up a meeting with Anna to ferret out her feelings for Valentin. Of course, Anna will deny everything but will her guilt get the best of her?
Anna’s role in Valentin’s tortured backstory, makes her part of why he’s such a troubled and dangerous man today. Valentin may have looked the hot mess back at the WSB academy but he’s super fine now. Will Anna develop a soft spot for the hunky misunderstood villain? Any kindness Anna shows Valentin will be met with hostility by Nina.
Also on Nina’s radar is Lulu who can’t control her impulses. Even Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) told Lulu not to tell Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) the biological mom truth until she dealt with Claudette Beaulieu’s (Bree Williamson) death. But impulsive Lulu blurted it out. Sorry, your mom is dead, but she wasn’t your mom anyway!
That doesn’t go over well. Charlotte screams at her, runs off, and locks Lulu in the linen closet. An upset Charlotte heads for her Papa and Nina figures out what Lulu did. She tells Valentin that Lulu upset Charlotte with the truth. Valentin is furious and so is Nina. All Nina wants in this world is a family and now she has a husband and daughter.
Lulu upsetting Charlotte won’t go over well with tiger step-mom Nina. There are more showdowns soon between Lulu and Nina over Charlotte. Nina and Charlotte are bonding and she loves her step-mother and hates her biological mother. Lulu will snap and the two get into it. Nina tells Lulu she’s selfish and awful and says she knows what’s best for the kid.
Nina is capable of anything when threatened and Anna and Lulu are poised to take Valentin and Charlotte away from her. There is no telling what Nina might do to them. Are Anna and Lulu in danger? Maybe. Valentin has no clue about the depths of crazy in the woman he married. Will he be pleased or a bit scared – or both?
