General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the mystery surrounding Jake’s (Hudson West) time on Cassadine Island will continue to unravel. The show is finally making progress on this storyline, but many details still need to be revealed. Jake’s past could lead to some serious drama down the road.
Jason (Billy Miller) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) are certainly committed to helping Jake through his troubles. They want answers, but Andre (Anthony Montgomery) insisted they would have to be patient. It sounds like GH viewers will have to be patient as well. There are sure to be some twists and turns as this plot moves forward.
Things could get especially tricky for Jason. He may regret pushing so hard on all of this. When Jake met with Andre, he made a crucial comment about some action figures. Jake suggested that the witch and the scarecrow were friends in his story. We also know that Jake drew a scarecrow on his timeline. It seems to represent an important part of his Cassadine Island experience.
Helena (Constance Towers) is likely the witch in this scenario, but General Hospital fans are growing curious about the identity of the scarecrow. There’s one option that could prove life-changing for several key players. It would explain a lot if Jason was the scarecrow in question. He may have been Helena’s frightening puppet during Jake’s horrible ordeal.
Since Helena brainwashed Jason, he may have tormented poor Jake before he received his new face. The timing could be a little tricky, but GH writers will undoubtedly make it fit however they want. Most of us could probably forgive a bit of fudging as long as a decent tale comes out of it.
Jason has had difficulty bonding with Jake and there could be a good reason for that. On a subconscious level, Jake may sense that Jason was involved in his trauma. He could somehow be trying to connect the dots with his twisted art.
Of course, the revelation that Jason caused Jake such distress could be powerful. Jake already has a strong bond with Franco (Roger Howarth) and this could solidify it. General Hospital spoilers say that Franco might even be the one to uncover the truth if their art therapy resumes. Perhaps he could determine that Jason is the source of at least some of Jake’s problems.
Regardless, this news would only make Jason’s beef with Franco worse. Jake could push Jason away and lean on Franco for support. As Franco fully steps into father mode, the conflict could erupt. Jason may be on a mission to repair the damage with Jake and cut Franco out of their lives permanently.
