General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s a shady new player in the Jason (Billy Miller) twin saga. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) sat down for an interview in hopes of securing the CEO job at Aurora Media. Some intriguing tidbits came out during Peter’s conversation with Jason, so let’s look at what these clues might mean.
First, we should talk about Peter’s demeanor. He was just a little too slick and that could spell trouble. Peter seems like a crooked character who’s posing as one of the good guys. There’s no official word on that yet, but it’s important to trust your instincts when you’re watching a soap. If someone seems suspicious, he or she probably is.
There’s also the timing of Peter’s availability. Jason thought it was strange that Peter suddenly became an option just when they needed him. Peter suggested that he’d been looking for a reason to return from Europe. He claimed that he heard about the sale of Derek Wells Media and decided to jump at the opportunity. Hmm..that sounds awfully fishy!
There’s a good chance Peter had another reason for applying at Aurora Media. That brings us to the next clue. Peter was certainly curious about Jason’s identity. He noted that there’d been some buzz floating around, so he felt the need to ask about it. Peter asked if Miller’s character is really Jason Morgan.
BM Jason naturally assured Peter that he’s indeed Mr. Morgan and added that his twin had no proof to back up his claims. He acknowledged that Patient Six (Steve Burton) might try to come after his assets, but he doesn’t think his brother can win the battle. Jason intends to fight P6 every step of the way.
That was an acceptable answer for Peter, so they completed this phase of the hiring process. General Hospital spoilers say the next interview Peter does will be with Sam (Kelly Monaco). Will she pick up on any weird vibes from this guy or will he be too smooth to spark questions? GH fans will be interested to see how Sam reacts to the mysterious Peter August.
Peter may ask Sam questions about the identity drama as well. It’s doubtful the mastermind of the twin study would risk strutting around Port Charles like this. Instead, Peter could be someone the mastermind sent in.
Becoming the CEO of Jason and Sam’s company is a great strategy. Peter can easily keep an eye on the situation. Perhaps Peter has been recruited to spy and do some dirty work.
