General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a major showdown is coming between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Olivia “Liv” Jerome (Tonja Walker). This will be a fight to the death and we all know that Sonny will be the one to walk away as the sole survivor. But will that be the end of Liv?
On Twitter recently, both Tonja Walker and Maurice Benard confirmed the epic confrontation between Liv and Sonny is on the way. Tonja was asked by a fan on Twitter “Hey Tonja any scenes with Maurice??” and she replied “Yes they are coming up. Great actor, wonderful man. It was such a pleasure.”
A fan then said to Maurice “Can’t wait for Sonny to see Tonja Walker #OliviaJerome” and the actor replied “I connect with her.” Another fan piled on saying “Connect Hard” which it is surely the way it will go. Sonny has been containing his rage over the loss of his youngest son and it will all spill out.
Sonny had to hold back Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) from going after Ava Jerome (Maura West) after she was arrested for the car bomb but now it seems even Sonny is convinced Ava was not the mastermind behind Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) death. Sonny suspects Ava is guilty of something, though.
He’s right and General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava’s drug swap will come out perhaps as part of her defense in the car bomb case. For now, Ava is out of the way since Liv laid her plans carefully and thoroughly set up her little sister and Julian Jerome (William deVry) can’t alibi Ava.
Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) will soon find everything out thanks to an intense conversation with Jason after Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is kidnapped. Sam will be rescued but injured and this sets the stage for the life or death confrontation between Sonny and Liv.
GH fans know Sonny has no problem threatening or even killing women if he must. After all, Baby Avery is the only thing keeping Ava alive. Unfortunately for Liv, there is nothing to stop Sonny from taking her life – and no one cares if she dies – not even her little brother Julian.
Since Julian just tried to kill her himself, he might even send Sonny a “thank you” bouquet of balloons for murdering his awful sister. This scene may take place on the often-used bridge according to some inside GH sources – just as the fight over the gun will happen between Liv and Sam there.
This is also the place where Ava fell to her “death” before she was revealed to be alive later. Many fans want Liv to stick around and are lobbying ABC to bring her back. Tonja Walker is also hoping to come back and her comments reveal that her death will not be final.
General Hospital spoilers tease we can expect Sonny to “kill” Liv in a scenario where her dead body is not found – such as a fall from the bridge or a plummet off a cliff – so GH showrunners are free to bring her back later to wreak havoc on unsuspecting Port Charles that believes her dead.
