General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, August 8, tease that Hayden (Rebecca Budig) will find herself stuck in a tricky situation. It looks like Jared (Matt Corboy) will rev up the pressure. He has a blackmail plot in motion and he wants Hayden to know how much is at stake.
Hayden will try to remain calm when Jared meets Finn (Michael Easton). He’ll reveal that they used to be married and Hayden will have to handle the awkwardness. General Hospital spoilers say she’ll do her best to downplay her panic, but Finn may suspect that something’s off.
Monica (Leslie Charleson) will give Finn her approval in Tuesday’s episode. Is this about the plane tickets that Hayden bought? She’s undoubtedly trying to plan an escape route, but Finn may believe it’s just a romantic getaway. Perhaps Monica will give Finn some time off for his vacation.
Monica will have a conversation with Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) as well. It seems Olivia is going through a bit of a crisis. She’s a Quartermaine now, but she doesn’t feel like it. Olivia will contend that she’s never going to be part of this family, but Monica might suggest that she already is.
GH fans know that Monica isn’t always warm and cuddly, but she can be compassionate when the mood hits. Elsewhere, Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) will grill Ned (Wally Kurth) about his intentions. He’ll quickly determine that Ned has his eye on a particular position at ELQ.
Dillon will ask how long Ned’s going to pretend like he doesn’t want Michael’s (Chad Duell) job. Uh-oh. Should Michael be worried? For now, Michael will be more concerned about his inquisitive mother. Carly (Laura Wright) will find Nelle (Chloe Lanier) to ask an important question. She’ll wonder how Nelle ended up with that shell casing to begin with.
Nelle will probably try to dance around the truth. She wants Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to have a chance to come clean. Nevertheless, Michael might intervene and clear everything up. Carly will have to admit that Nelle really helped Sonny (Maurice Benard) out. She’ll reluctantly thank Nelle for the role she played in saving Sonny’s life.
Across town, General Hospital spoilers say Oscar (Garren Stitt) will get a shock. He’ll be taken aback when he realizes he gave Joss a necklace made from a bullet casing. Josslyn will point out that it helped find Sonny and that’s all that matters. At GH, Sam (Kelly Monaco) will also be relieved that someone came to Sonny’s rescue. She’ll offer a tearful apology as she recalls leaving Sonny to die.
Sonny will assure Sam that he doesn’t blame her for what happened. She wasn’t in her right mind, but that won’t stop Hurricane Carly’s wrath! We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
