General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Willaim deVry, who portrays Jerome Family crime boss, Julian Jerome may be on his way out of Port Charles. Although General Hospital cast and staff are currently on a 3-week hiatus from filming, William deVry and the powers that be at GH have not been able to negotiate his contract. That being said, all the scenes he has already recorded may be his last. How do you feel about William deVry not returning to General Hospital?
William deVry joined the cast of the ABC soap opera in July 2013, where he came claiming his name was Derek Wells, the owner of Crimson magazine. It was quickly discovered that he was in fact Julian Jerome and back in Port Charles to stake his claim to the family business.
The surprises keep coming too when he agrees to run Sam Morgan’s (Kelly Monaco) story of her son Danny’s need for a bone marrow donor. Derek gets himself tested and learns he is a perfect match for little Danny; leading him to discover Sam is her daughter with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
General Hospital’s Julian Jerome has always been the character to love to hate and hate to love. He has a deep love for Alexis Davis, but it is very much a toxic relationship. Julian followed his sister’s orders and attempted to kill the love of his life, instead of telling Alexis what was going on so she could protect herself. When Julian first arrived and donated bone marrow to his grandson, he used Danny as a shield to protect him from mob enemy, Sonny Corinthos; causing him to be enemy number 1 in some people’s books!
General Hospital sources confirm that many people were shocked that they didn’t really consider it to be the last day they would see William deVry working as most just assumed since there is such a huge storyline happening with him and Nancy Lee Grahn right now, that he wouldn’t be going anywhere.
