General Hospital spoilers ask if there is anyone in Port Charles who won’t want to see Nelle [Chloe Lanier] on a slab in the morgue soon? The answer seems to be not many! Nelle has been busy since her arrival in town, ingratiating herself with the Corinthos household and anticipating Carly’s [Laura Wright] every need. Carly’s mother Bobbie [Jackie Zeman] was suspicious of her right away, and time has only made that suspicion stronger.
All of that pales in comparison to Nelle making Sonny believe they’ve slept together. Even worse, she plays games so that he thinks that she is about to tell Carly. Only a fool would go up against a mob boss. Nelle is too arrogant for her own good. And that might be her downfall.
Nelle is trying to put one over on Felicia [Kristina Wagner], Carly, and Michael [Chad Duell] by convincing them that she has an older boyfriend. This naturally panics Sonny [Maurice Benard] because her real goal is to lead them to the boyfriend being Sonny. The question is, how far will Sonny let Nelle go with her plan? He has threatened her, but knowing Nelle, she didn’t take the hint. Sonny isn’t used to being in this position.
Nelle is about to become a big problem for Carly [Laura Wright] when she sends that compromising tape to her, thus putting her marriage at even more risk. This will make steam come out of the top of Sonny’s head! He could then shoot her himself, or he could dispatch someone to do it for him.
It would be great for Sonny if he could find out that he was drugged and is innocent of sleeping with Nelle. Then he could not only kill her, but prove to Carly that he did not cheat on her. The only way he can find that out is if Nelle put that in writing someone, told someone, or made one of the many tapes floating around Port Charles that can implicate people for different things.
Bobbie Spencer [Jackie Zeman] has been suspicious of Nelle from the beginning. Is Bobbie a murderer? Well, no, but if anyone could drive someone to murder, it’s Nelle. Felicia is investigating Nelle. So far, she doesn’t like what she’s seen. GH fans can’t see Felicia killing someone intentionally, though.
In the case of both Bobbie and Felicia, I could see one of them pushing away an aggressive Nelle, causing her to fall, hit her head, and die. So it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
Michael (Chad Duell) has been unlucky in love. His interest in Nelle has been thwarted by that so-called older boyfriend of hers. When he finds out what Nelle is really about, I can see him in a fit of temper lashing out with a heavy object and causing Nelle’s demise, even if he doesn’t intend to kill her.
Then there is Carly. Imagine taking someone into your home, leaving your child with her, and then realizing she slept with your husband (or so you think). They would see stars and, given what Carly has been through lately, she could grab the nearest knife. General Hospital fans wouldn’t be overly surprised if Carly did that and pled not guilty by reason of insanity. If Nelle is Carly’s sister or daughter, she’d be smart to let Carly know that beforehand.
Does Nelle realize how close she could be to being bumped off? Unlikely. If she were as smart as she thinks she is, she’d be very careful in what she does next. In fact, what she should do is leave town! Come back to CDL for all your hot General Hospital spoilers and news!
