Lou had tried having a normal breakfast. He had cooked fluffy pancakes and had even invited his son’s girlfriend to have breakfast with them. But the teenagers had been attached to their cell phones and they had eventually seen something on social media that had frightened the both of them. The teenagers had apparently seen the dead body of Sam Harrison because someone had taken a picture of the victim while he was strung up. So Five-0 had figured out that there was something wrong long before the harbormaster finally called in the body however what Lou had wanted to know was why Sam’s killer drew such attention to the victim.

However, the answer was easy to find out. Five-0 had looked into Sam Harrison and he was shown to be a known hunter. He apparently liked to hunt big game and had disgusted the world when he revealed that he wanted to go shark hunting. So Lou had thought about the victim’s own crime and he thought their best suspect would be Lily O’Neil. Lily was considered to be a shark whisperer because she dived with sharks as a way to show the world that they aren’t horrible creatures though Kono didn’t think Lily would kill Sam. She thought Lily was inspirational and that she loved life too much to hurt anyone.

So Kono had checked out Lily with Danny just to remove the other woman as a suspect and the detectives found Lily to be insightful. Lily had been under no illusions about Five-0 showing up at her down yet she claimed to be innocent of Sam’s crime and had also said that it would have hurt her cause if she had killed Sam. Lily had explained that she and fellow activist were looking into creating legislation to protect the seal life so in her opinion it just didn’t make sense to kill one lone hunter. Though what Lily said had resonated with Danny and Kono because they thought Lily was right when she said a dead hunter could have destroyed everything

The guys had thought about it and killing one hunter out of so many would have been a waste of time and it would have tainted the movement. So they thought that Sam might have been killed for another reason and that the killer had made it look like the activist had did it. Yet, Five-0 had to juggle another case in the meantime. There had been a Jane Doe that had washed up ashore and the ME had found multiple blunt force trauma indicating that she had been murdered, but the guys had been confused about Jane Doe’s tattoo. The tattoo looked like something from the holocaust which didn’t make sense because the victim had been in her thirties.

Chin however had still thought they should check with the Shoah Foundation and that had helped them indeitfy Jane Doe. Jane was actually Leia Rozen and her grandfather who she was pretty closed to had been Itzhak Rozen. Itzhak had survived the holocaust and he had recently died. So Leia had gotten the tattoo to remember her grandfather and all he had been through. But Leia was last seen volunteering at the old leprosy colony in Kalaupapa on Molokai so the guys knew that they had to go out there despite their misgivings because the colony had had their restrictions removed – the guys knew that they were going to be dealing with lepers.

The lepers on the other hand hadn’t been a problem. They had been kind and welcoming so the fact they were lepers had barely registered with either Chin or McGarrett. However, their victim hadn’t exactly been honest when she showed up on the island. She said she wanted to volunteer and that she wanted to do some sightseeing though what kind of sightseeing involved a gun? The guys had found a guy in Leia’s luggage and so they had looked into why she would bother. So that had revealed a few answers for what happened to Leia. Leia had gone to the island because she had wanted to get revenge.

Leia had traveled a lot and the route she took had been the Nazi ratline. The ratline was the route that Nazis took when they fled Europe and so Leia had been hunting someone. Though the guys didn’t know who until they saw an old video that Leia’s grandfather had made. Itzhak had apparently made a video describing how he and his family been tortured by a guard that had made him choose between his brother and his sister on who should live. So the guys did their best to track down the Nazi and aging his photo had helped people in the colony identify to who he was. And he was Allen Smith.

Allen Smith had worked at the orphanage on the island and he had looked after many of the kids there. Yet, the guys had to tell on guy that it didn’t matter what Allen did on the island because he had committed atrocities previously. So Bill had told them that if they wanted to find Allen that they should ask his daughter who happened to be Sheriff Alana, but Alana who had access to police files had figured out they were close to arresting her father and she had fled with the elderly man. And he was truly elderly. The war criminal had been ninety-one and so he couldn’t have killed Leia and the guys validated that by checking out his place.

Allen or Tomas or whatever his name is had had blood all over the bedroom floor and it proved that Alana who occasionally slept over had seen that Leia was going to kill her father however she had gotten the other woman from behind and had killed her. But it had taken some time for the guys to track down the former police officer and her father. So they didn’t catch them until the two messed up by being seen booking into a hotel and only then was justice finally delivered. Tomas had been arrested for war crimes and his daughter had been arrested for the murder of Leia who had simply wanted to right a wrong.

However, Kono had also found Sam’s killer. The killer had taken Sam out to hunt sharks and the dumb fool hadn’t wanted to do it in a cage so he had gotten bitten by a shark yet it had been hard for him to cover up and he was slowly dying out. So the guy that had helped illegal hunt sharks had decided that Sam was too much of a risk for his business. And sure that had been cold-hearted. It just hadn’t been as bad as to hunt a shark that wasn’t bothering up and was in fact illegal.

So karma always caught up to certain guys, but at least Kamekona learned that at the end of the day he truly should have treated family better than refusing to allow them to unionize and so he now had a decent management team.

THE END!
