Prince William and Kate Middleton are taking separate weekend getaways now. Kate Midddleton had an all-girls weekend with her sister Pippa Middleton and her gal pals, too. The only difference between her and Prince William’s trip to the Swiss Alps is that she didn’t make a fool out of herself by drinking and dancing awkwardly in public. Still, many royal fans can’t help but notice that William and Kate haven’t been spending much time with one another lately.
Kate Middleton traveled to the South of France the same weekend Prince William made headlines for drinking with topless models and showing off his awkward dance moves at a nightclub in Verbier. And, while William’s antics made headlines all over the world, Kate managed to keep her trip under the radar up until now. She reportedly celebrated her sister Pippa Middleton’s Bachelorette party with a small ground of close friends.
While many people expected Kate to attend her sister’s Bachelorette party, a lot of fans are surprised that William decided to plan his trip that same weekend. Was he jealous or upset over Kate’s plans? Are William and Kate having a hard time keeping their marriage in tact behind closed doors?
Surely, Prince William could have stayed home with the couple’s two children Prince George and Princess Charlotte during Pippa’s Bachelorette weekend. But instead, William wanted to make a point that if Kate can getaway for a weekend, then surely he can too. But, unfortunately his trip ended up being a huge royal embarrassment for the future King of England.
A lot of royal critics believe that William might be going through some sort of crisis. After all, what made him drop everything at home to go on a foolish ski trip with his friends? Is he really that unhappy at home with Kate Middleton and their life together? Is there something going on that the public doesn’t know about?
