The Met Gala was an important event to the Fashion World and the Kardashian/Jenner family. The family seems like they have always been excited by the Met Gala however they’ve been attending the event for the last couple of years now and they’re still worry about how they’ll appear. They take extra care with their outfits, their makeup, and even their arrival time. But no one was more nervous than Kim. Kim had to lay awkwardly in the van to not wrinkle her dress and she couldn’t decide on simple things like she whether she wanted it to be hot in the car or cold.
She complained her nipples would look hard if it was too cold and she didn’t want to get any wet marks if it was too hot. However, her design team came up with a solution. They had used the moments when the car stopped to blow-dry her dress and so Kim eventually arrived to the Met Gala in style. Kim, Kendall, and Kylie all wore high-end couture and had plenty of photographs to show off to their family because they managed to have a lot of fun despite their nerves. So the three of them were impressing the Fashion World while Kortney and Khloe had stayed home.
Khloe had to attend one of her man’s games and so she had been in Cleveland. Yet, Kris got Khloe to promise she would come to LA soon and hang out with them. So Khloe later joined the rest of the family as they went over the Met Gala pictures and Kourtney revealed she was seeing someone. Kourtney hadn’t come out and said anything explicitly, but it was pretty hard not to notice her picking up secret packages and sending secret text messages at a family dinner. It had just been so awkward that they all wanted to ask her about it and at the same time didn’t want to upset her by asking about it.
But Kourtney seemed happy. She was giggling a lot and had been content in her own secret world while everyone else had just been trying to calm down Kim. Kim was still getting text messages about those infamous Mexico photos that showed off some bad cellulite and her self-esteem hasn’t recovered. She was still questioning whether or not she looked good in each and every single photo. So the Met Gala did nothing to improve her own view of herself and her family and friends were actually starting to worry about that.
BFF Jonathan had done his best to get Kim to see how beautiful she was and that she didn’t need anyone else’ validation. Though no matter what anyone else said or the pictures they showed her of how great she looked, Kim was still messed up. She doubts herself because of the whole Mexico thing and the fact that no one else wanted to let it go. So that proved to be hard on the ones that love her because they constantly had to watch as she doubted herself and suffered a setback they weren’t sure she would ever recover from.
Kim had been in a pretty bad place following what happened in Paris and she had only recently started to feel comfortable about going back outside again. However, Kim’s family tried get her over this hump and in the meanwhile Kourtney was coming out of her own shell. She had gotten Khloe to watch the kids as she went out on dates and she was dodging the paparazzi as she best she could. So Kourtney was in the next stage of her life and everyone around her was liking the new Kourtney. She was relaxed and had gone back to her kooky self.
Kourtney had gained a new confidence and so she and Khloe were back to their old tricks. Khloe had this de-cellulite thing that she tried out on Kourtney with Jonathan and it turns out Kourtney had little to no cellulite to mention. But they just came things up to amuse themselves because a certain someone had come all the way from Cleveland to hang out with her mother and her mother never had time for her. Kris has been making Khloe feel bad about moving away and so Khloe came back to specifically spend time with her mother yet Kris always had something else to do.
Kris and Khloe had started to make brownies one day and then Kris had left Khloe to take the brownies out of the oven because she had something else to do. Yet, Khloe had later cleaned out her own closet and had asked her mother if she could help. So Kris had taken herself out of the running again by being too busy that day and having no time for Khloe the day after that. And so Khloe confronted her mother. She said she understood if things come up though she didn’t want her mother to make her feel bad if that’s what happens when she does come to spend time with her.
So Kris had apologized. She told Khloe how much she misses her and that she never meant to make Khloe feel bad when they talk on the phone, but Khloe said they talked more when she was Cleveland than when she was in LA. Though mom and daughter eventually got to spend time together at a wine tasting. They had gotten the chance to drink up and had even laughed till they cry when Kris started to make prank phone calls. She called random hotels, bakeries, and had asked them all questions about Khloe while she and Khloe laughed at their responses. And so the two had fun.
They didn’t often get the chance to do that and so they greatly enjoyed (perhaps too much) when it finally happened. But to take care of the Kim problem, her sisters came to together to arrest all of her apps and stop Kim from reading he horrible things people say about her on the internet. So hopefully that helps…
