Kim DePaola may not be a full time cast member of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” but she is very popular with the show’s fans. Kim has been a fixture of the Bravo reality show since the beginning of the franchise. She made her first appearance in season one in 2010 and has been in eighteen episodes so far.
Kim DePaola first appeared on the show when some of the cast shopped at her store Posche by Kim D in Wayne, New Jersey. She greeted Teresa Giudice and friends with a smile, hugs and kisses. The great Miss D has a kind and easy going way about her. She didn’t let some chatter she heard from the ladies get her feathers ruffled. Kim takes care of her friends, her customers and most of all she takes care of business.
There are some “Real Housewives of New Jersey’” fans who have said Kim DePaola is always in the center of drama. This isn’t true. There are some occasions where fights have broken out at Kim’s events, but that doesn’t mean Kim started the trouble. In season two at Kim’s Posche fashion show Teresa is chasing Danielle Staub around the country club hosting the event.
Danielle also has hair pulled out of her head by Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter Ashley Holmes. Ashley claims she was trying to protect her mother from Danielle. The fighting with Danielle had nothing to do with Kim. Kim’s appearances in season seven also did not bring big drama. She met up with some friends and they traded notes on whether or not Joe Giudice cheated on Teresa during her prison sentence. This rumor had been in the press almost the whole time Teresa Giudice was away at camp.
On the flip side there were occasions where Miss D was in the middle of a disaster. Kim told the “Tomorrow Show” on February 23, 2017, that producers create the drama of “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” She said the show’s producers asked her to expose what was really going on with Teresa and her sister in law Melissa Gorga.
Kim feels the new peaceful relationship between the sisters in law is fake. Miss D also said she started Strippergate, accusing MeGo of being a stripper before she married Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga. This rumor, per Kim, was started a long time before Missy joined “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
Kim became involved with the show when Danielle and Jax were shopping at Posche by Kim D. Kim told the “Tomorrow Show” she is friends with all the women. She talks and gossips with all of them. Also, Kim said makes herself accessible to people who want to speak to her and give her the scoop on what really goes on with the cast.
Armed with the truth Kim DePaola speaks confidently when asked about the Housewives. Kim’s Facebook page is full of support and agreement with her when she puts someone on blast. They know Kim is not out to hurt someone on purpose. If Kim calls you out it’s because she was hurt by that person. Earlier this year Kim had some choice words for MeGo of Facebook. She is not a fan of the J-Lo wanna be. “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 8 is currently in production.
