Princess Diana and Prince Charles Bitter Divorce Battle: ‘Feud’ Season 2 Spoilers

‘Feud’ Season 2 spoilers indicate that the series will show Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ bitter divorce battle. In fact, the second season will focus on their divorce and end with Princess Diana’s tragic death in Paris in 1997.

According to Deadline, exec Ryan Murphy hints that viewers are in for a rollercoaster ride as he plans on showing the good, the bad and the ugly. And knowing how much viewers love royal drama, there’s a good chance that Prince Charles’ mistress and current wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles will be featured during the season, too.

Ryan said, “So Charles and Diana’s story literally begins with filing the divorce papers. It’s about that pain of the dissolving of a fairy tale, particularly for Diana. It starts with the filing of divorce papers and takes you up until her death.”

What’s more, actresses Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange, who were cast in Season 1 of ‘Feud’ will be back for the second season. Although Ryan Murphy didn’t say what parts they would be playing but he did confirm that they will be back. He also added that he’s hoping to begin filming for Season 2 in the fall and that he’s also currently casting for Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

If there’s one person who doesn’t want to relive the drama, it’s Prince Charles. After all, he’s closer to becoming the King of England more now than ever before. Both he and his wife Camilla Parker-Bowles have also put in a lot of effort to help soften their public images. Camilla doesn’t want to be known as the ‘other woman’ who ruined Princess Diana’s marriage for the rest of her life.

Camilla Parker-Bowles and Prince Charles have been married for well over a decade now. But at this point, there’s not much they can do about it. ‘Feud’ is going to make major headlines when it debuts and everyone is going to be talking about it, the same way fans talk about Netflix’s ‘The Crown.’

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the series, or whether or not Queen Elizabeth even approves of it. Then again, there’s very little chance that the Queen would have anything to say about it. The last thing she wants to do is get involved with a Hollywood production or make any comments about it for that matter. Also, check back with CDL for all the latest news and updates on the Royals!
