Camilla Parker-Bowles sat down for an exclusive interview. This is her second one in the past month. It seems like the Duchess of Cornwall can’t stop talking about her affair with Prince Charles that took place when they were both married. Prince Charles was married to Princess Diana at the time. It was obvious that the couple was already miserable and marriage wasn’t the best idea.

A new biography chronicling Camilla Parker Bowles’ life talks about her affair with Prince Charles. Author Penny Junor spoke to the Daily Mail about how Princess Diana threatened Camilla with her life. She made a series of phone calls threatening to kill her. Diana would tell Camilla that she’s sending someone after her to kill her. She would warn Camilla that someone is outside her home. She enjoyed driving Camilla mad, claims the author.

Camilla Parker Bowles entered Prince Charles’ life at the end of 1986. She became more than just a friend. The ex-girlfriend of Prince Charles was already his mistress. By that time, Diana already had two children. Princess Diana clearly enjoyed being in the limelight. She didn’t want anyone to ruin her fantasy even if she wasn’t happy being married to Prince Charles. She loved the adoration she received and she loved the effect that she had on men.

When she found out that Prince Charles was seeing his former lover again, she was livid. Though Princess Diana was having affairs of her own, she grew obsessed with the women she seen as her rival. Princess Diana famously confronted Camilla Parker Bowles at a party thrown by Lady Annabel Goldsmith at her home in Richmond. She told Camilla that she knew exactly what was happening between her and Prince Charles. Camilla was more upset that Diana would make a big scene in front of everyone.

Princess Diana agreed to release the book Diana: Her True Story, two years later. She opened up about her suicide attempts, her bulimia, and her obsession with Camilla Parker Bowles. She struggled with her eating disorder and mood swings all throughout their marriage. It’s one of the reasons why she became so obsessed with Camilla Parker Bowles. Diana’s obsession became so bad that she started calling Camilla and leaving her with death threats.

Princess Diana was not doing as well as she looked in the late 80s to the early 90s. She lost contact with her friends and family, and the people who worked for her. She was convinced that her husband’s office was trying to discredit her. It led her mad and caused her to leave threatening phone calls and messages on answering machines and pages.

Camilla Parker Bowles received all kinds of harassment. She received phone calls in the middle of the night and day. She also received disturbing letters, as she became a prisoner in her home. She recently revealed that she would hide away from the media and the public in the middle of her affair with Prince Charles. She found great strength in her family and friends.
