Tonight’s episode of Quantico kicks off in the crisis zone – the terrorists are injecting the prisoners with truth serum to ensure that they are answering correctly. We just found out that the “terrorists” are actually FBI agents and they are killing off members of the AIC. The man in the interrogation room apparently has failed the test, the FBI shoots and kills him where he is standing.
At training camp, Alex is determined to prove to Owen that his daughter Lydia is running the AIC and recruiting students from his classes for the organization. But, Owen refuses to listen to her. Alex sneaks in to Owen’s house, he warns her that she is obsessed, and she needs to just take a deep breath and walk away.
At a nearby bar, Harry Doyle meets with Pip, one of his MI6 contacts. He wants Pip to steal some ledgers for him. Sebastian interrupts their breakfast and Pip runs out. Harry is not a happy camper.
Meanwhile, Leon is working with the FBI now. He meets with his handler Rayna, and signs some documents, she reassures him that he will be immune of any crimes that he has committed.
Alex tracks down Shelby, even though they aren’t on good terms, she fills her on what she discovered about Lydia. Shelby tells Alex that she is going to have to prove it to Owen and get him on their side. She gives Shelby a picture of a map that she stole from Lydia.
The students head to class and Owen tells them about one of his assets, a woman named Helen Sharp that worked at a bank in Russia. He recruited her to track the Russian’s laundered money, but then she was discovered. It was Owen’s job to get her out safely, but he failed, and the Russians killed Helen Sharp.
It’s time for Harry Doyle to be injected with truth serum and interviewed. The FBI gives Ryan a gun and tells him that if he is a true member of the FBI, then he will kill Harry is he is in the AIC.
Owen gives the students their next assignment. The CIA has an asset in Germany that is in danger, and they need to get him out of the country. Owen gives the students 24 hours to extract Marcus from Germany.
Meanwhile, Lydia has given the AIC members their own job to do while they are in Germany, behind Owen’s back. They have to run surveillance on a man named Elsa Schmidt.
While the students are strategizing, Alex takes Owen aside and gives him some info that she and Shelby discovered. Apparently, Lydia was in 5 cities where suspicious deaths occurred.
The students arrive in Germany, and Owen has a shock for them. He announces that he is Marcus Weber, and its their job to get him out of the country. Germany knows him, and they are already running surveillance on him. It will be nearly impossible to get Owen back through customs.
It’s time for Harry Doyle’s interrogation. Ryan suits up and hold Harry at gunpoint. Both men are a hot mess. Luckily, Harry passes the questions and is deemed not a member of the AIC, so Ryan doesn’t have to shoot him.
In Germany, Dayana, Ryan, and Leon abandon the mission to go carry out Lydia’s dirty work. Alex is all by herself. She tries to sneak Owen out of the back entrance to a coffee shop, but the German police are following them. They knock Alex out and stun Owen with a taser. Luckily, Ryan returns at the last minute and is able to save Alex and Owen.
Alex takes Owen back to the safe house while they work on getting him a fake ID to leave the country.
But, apparently the safe house isn’t too safe, someone is waiting there for them with a gun and he has every intention of killing Owen. The man introduces himself as Daniel Sharp, Owen got his mother killed by the Russians when he was just 14 years old.
Leon and Dayana get an update from Lydia, they learn that they have to shoot and kill the woman that they are watching. Dayana has no problem carrying out Lydia’s order. She puts her silencer on her gun and lines up to take the shot. At the last minute, Leon panics and takes the gun away from her.
The guilt about Helen Sharp is eating Owen up. He want Daniel to kill him and make things right. He screams at Daniel to shoot him, but Alex steps in and takes the gun and tells Daniel to leave.
It’s Leon’s turn to be interrogated, and he is failing miserably. The FBI agent in charge wants to shoot and kill Leon, but Ryan tackles him at the last minute and saves Leon. Alex arrives in the nick of time. She tells Ryan that no one else is going to die today, and it’s time for them to get everyone out of the building and to safety. Ironically, they are protecting everyone from the FBI.
Dayana calls Lydia and tells her that they failed their mission, and it was all Leon’s fault. Lydia tells Dayana that Leon will be gone by the end of the week.
Meanwhile, Alex finally makes some progress with Owen and he accepts the fact that Lydia is a radical.
He meets with Alex and Shelby to help the FBI build a case against Lydia.
Alex and Rayna lead the people out of the building, but they realize that the terrorists must have taken off their suits and are blending in with the prisoners. They have no idea who is good and who is bad.
