The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers suggest that Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will have a chance encounter at II Giardino that could well lead to danger for the Forrester patriarch. Long time B&B fans know that Sheila is not one to go gently into that good night.
When she was last seen on screen her maniacal laugh sent chills down most viewer’s spines. While a significant portion of Sheila’s history on B&B has revolved around her long-running conflict with Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman, Young and the Restless) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) has become the newest target for Sheila’s rage.
Sheila tried to play nice and convince Eric and the rest of the Forrester family that she her stay in prison had caused her to change her violent and scheming ways. That façade fell away fast, first by Sheila’s vicious confrontations with Quinn and then by her failed attempt to lure Quinn into an affair with Mateo (Francisco San Martin).
The final straw for Sheila was when Eric turned on her in what some viewers thought was a cruel way. Seeing her portrait over the mantel only to have Eric and Quinn mock her could have easily pushed Sheila over the edge.
When Sheila wants a man she gets him and she may very well be tempted to kidnap Eric. This would allow Sheila to pursue her fantasy of becoming the next Mrs. Forrester with or without Eric’s consent. When Quinn and Charlie (Dick Christie) found the portrait in the closet during the Thanksgiving celebration it was a subtle way for the writers to remind viewers that they have not yet seen the last of Sheila Carter.
Sheila’s descent back into madness would be a plausible path for Kimberlin’s departure from B&B to pursue her campaign for a seat in The United States Congress full-time.
