The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that a big comeback is in the works for May Sweeps. The show’s Twitter page recently posted some hints about what’s ahead. Bradley Bell, B&B’s executive producer and head writer, dropped the latest tidbits. During a red-carpet interview, Bell noted that we would soon see romance, glamour, surprises and the return of a fan-favorite character.
Viewers are always anxious to get their faves back in the mix on The Bold and the Beautiful. Which character might be headed to Los Angeles? There are several options. Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) is an obvious one since fans have been clamoring for her. Godfrey has said in interviews that she’d love to return.
We all know how much B&B enjoys doing love triangles. Caroline’s reappearance could leave Thomas (Pierson Fode) torn between two women. Sally (Courtney Hope) betrayed him, but he’s already well on his way to forgiving her. They shared some tender moments just before Sally’s arrest.
Still, having Caroline around could stir up old feelings. She’s the mother of Thomas’ child and he definitely cares about her. Of course, Caroline could get back together with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) one day. It’s clear that Ridge can’t stay with one woman for too long! His love for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) probably won’t last forever.
Then again, The Bold and the Beautiful buzz say it’s possible that someone like Deacon (Sean Kanan) could pop up. Quinn (Rena Sofer) might need another man in her life once her secret blows up her marriage. Deacon forgave Quinn after she shoved him off a cliff, so she should really embrace that loyalty. Quinn could use somebody with a little edge anyway.
The Bold and the Beautiful fans also love it when Thorne (Winsor Harmon) stops by. Unfortunately, the show seems reluctant to write much for him. If he ever shows up, it’s doubtful that it’d be more than a handful of episodes.
It’s worth noting that Bell specifically said a fan favorite “character” would be returning. Could that mean that a beloved role was recast? It’s certainly a possibility to consider. If Kim Matula is too busy to reprise her role as Hope, they could bring someone else in. Maybe that could lead to a reunion for Hope and Wyatt (Darin Brooks).
