The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya (Karla Mosley) will face major drama. Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) recently gave Rick updates about an issue with Lizzie’s adoption. Rick is the baby’s biological father, but it seems Maya’s role in Lizzie’s life could be in jeopardy.
Carter insisted that Rick, Maya and Nicole (Reign Edwards) all needed to sign some new paperwork ASAP. Of course, the timing couldn’t be worse. Nicole just found out that Lizzie may have been her only shot at a child. Since she probably can’t conceive another baby, Nicole has become quite possessive of Lizzie. Her maternal instincts really kick in whenever she’s around the little girl she gave birth to.
A vicious war could be brewing. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers state that Rick and Maya will fill Nicole in on the legal problem. They’ll push her to sign the document and let their current agreement stand. However, Nicole may not be in a hurry to put her signature on anything. She may see an opening to take back custody of Lizzie.
It’s clear that Nicole would still have a fight on her hands. One unsigned form won’t win the case for her. Maya will hope that it never even comes to that. She’ll do whatever she can to reason with Nicole. Maya hates what her sister is going through, but she doesn’t think it changes anything.
Nicole agreed to hand over this child and none of them could predict what would happen from there. Maya will likely point out that Nicole has other options. She could use a surrogate or even adopt. Nevertheless, Nicole will contend that Maya has been focusing on her career too much anyway. She may feel like she’d be a better mother for Lizzie.
B&B fans know Julius (Obba Babatunde) will side with Nicole if a custody battle ensues. Vivienne (Anna Maria Horsford) may decide she supports Maya. This family conflict could get ugly! Zende (Rome Flynn) should back up his wife, which means he’ll face off with Rick as well. That could ignite some strife for the Forresters.
