The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) are on the brink of exposure. They’ve been trying to keep their secret under wraps, but they obviously aren’t using the best strategy. Instead of avoiding each other, Quinn and Ridge are having sneaky meetings to reiterate that nothing else can happen.
The bomb is about to drop and the effects should be devastating for several B&B characters. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric (John McCook) will both feel betrayed. Ridge and Quinn could lose their significant others. There’s going to be a lot of pain for everyone involved.
Once the shock wears off and the anger is unleashed, which relationships will survive? It’s tough to say. Eric’s bond with Ridge will definitely suffer a setback. They were just starting to rebuild their connection, but things are about to blow up once more. Eric may disown Ridge for making moves on his wife.
That brings us to an interesting possibility. Could Eric forgive Quinn, but not Ridge? He’s been giving Quinn a pass for all her previous transgressions. Perhaps Eric will determine that Quinn deserves a pass this time as well. Quinn didn’t set out to kiss Ridge or go behind Eric’s back. None of this would’ve happened if Ridge hadn’t plotted against her.
Somewhere along the way, the plan changed. Ridge decided Quinn wasn’t so bad after all and their mutual lust began to grow. Quinn knew it was wrong, but she struggled to stay away. In other words, Quinn was just as responsible in the end.
Will how all of this started make a difference to Eric? Will he insist that Ridge is the one who dared to trap Quinn in his web? It’s an option to consider. It would take some hard work to earn back Eric’s trust, but Quinn might be able to repair the damage eventually.
Next, we have Brooke and Ridge’s relationship. If Brooke stays with Ridge after what he’s done, she’ll be a fool. Ridge has gone down this road far too many times. He’s a liar and a manipulator who puts his own desires above the needs of others.
Still, The Bold and the Beautiful is really playing up the family angle. Could Brooke give Ridge another shot for RJ’s (Anthony Turpel) sake? She’s been quite concerned about giving her teenage son what he wants. That trend might continue after the shocker.
Then again, maybe Brooke will run straight into Bill’s (Don Diamont) arms. The Bold and the Beautiful fans will be anxious to see what’s in store! We’ll give you updates as other news comes in.
