The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) will use Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) as an information source. Miss Carter will also benefit from the returned Forrester son’s interest in family advancement. These characters won’t become friends, but will attempt to leverage each other’s knowledge.
B&B viewers have already seen the major personality clash that took place between Thorne and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Battling brothers is a common theme on the soaps. In order to provide a fresh take on this type of age-old rivalry the writing staff has injected Sheila into this Los Angeles setting.
Loyal viewers have been wondering where B&B could possible take the Sheila character. There seemed to be little, if any plot left after everything played out with Eric (John McCook) and Quinn (Rena Sofer). So instead of having Brown’s character rehash the past, she’s picked a new prey.
Sheila’s cheeky choice of employer’s has allowed for multiple and repeated contact with various Forrester related personalities. Most recently Pam (Alley Mills) was lunching at the restaurant where Sheila works as a waitress. Both women agreed to become friends, which should give Brown’s character access to information via Pam’s position.
Next, Thorne happens to be eating lunch during one of Sheila’s shifts. Savvy viewers wonder what type of manager is running this restaurant because Sheila conducts plenty of personal business during work hours. The suspension of disbelief button is pushed and this soap continues to flow.
So, the conversation between Thorne and Sheila proves to provide information that both parties need to advance their causes. Sheila has it in for Quinn, who was the missing piece in the Ridge cheating puzzle Thorne has been trying to solve.
Thorne enabling Sheila to gain traction in her efforts to recouple with his father seems hard to image. He’s protective of Eric and knows the wild history of Sheric. So Thorne wouldn’t willingly put his dad in danger. But Sheila may be able to gain, or leverage occasional contact with Thorne and then used that to her advantage.
Thorne has just returned from Paris and is open to all sources of help in order to advance his plan to become a designer and to further the potential of a relationship with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). At this point Sheila is simply establishing new sources of contact with anyone who has direct ties to Eric. Thorne offers a new opportunity in this regard.
