The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers look at Thomas burning Steffy and leaving to Forrester to work for Sally Spectra. Seriously handsome Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode) is on the horns of a dilemma on, “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Should he stick around the family biz and take orders from his baby sister CEO, or jump ship and design dresses for the enemy?
Young Thomas was blindsided when his even younger sister was made CEO at the international fashion house, Forrester Creations. Not helping matters is the fact that pneumatic Steffy takes her job seriously and is out to prove that she deserves the promotion.
How will proud Thomas chose to handle Steffy’s micromanagement style? Thus far he’s choked back his resentment, but the talented designer has options. Namely, he can jump ship and work for his family’s business rival, a company led by Sally Spectra 2.0. Will he prove to be a loyal relative, or will his ego push him from his family’s bosom? It’s pretty obvious that TPTB are pushing the storyline toward the latter option.
Complicating matters is the crush that Thomas has on nu-Sally. She’s a red-headed force of nature, and the two twenty-somethings have been canoodling up a storm since she hit town. It doesn’t seem to bother Thomas that Sally has sought to humiliate Steffy in order to further her own name. In fact, putting Steffy in her place by instigating food fights probably works in Sally’s favor as far as Thomas is concerned.
Is B&B about to resurrect the 80’s in all its big-haired, loud fashion-design glory with this latest Forrester vs. Spectra plot? Too late, it already has! Viewers seem to be split over the rehashed storyline; online sentiment runs toward either, “love it,” or “hate it.”
What is certain is that Thomas seems poised on the cusp of a major decision that has far-reaching implications for both his professional and personal life. What will the perfectly coifed, impeccably dressed man-about-town do?
