A Russian drone flew over the United States and no one had known about it. But it wasn’t a security breach or a fault in the system. There was truly no one to blame for why this drone hadn’t been picked up by any of the US satellites and the Americans would have remained completely unaware of it as well as the latest advancement in Russian technology if it hadn’t gone on to crash. So the Americans wanted answers and they were willing to apply pressure to Captain Dalton’s team to get some answers.

The government had approved of sending Dalton and his men to the crash site. But it was imperative that they get there first seeing as the Russians were looking for the same drone and would stop Dalton’s team from getting close enough to the device to find out anything. So the timing was an issue and it was one of the many things on the long list that had been given to Dalton. He had also been ordered to take a sample of the drone because the people back home wanted to create defenses that could specifically keep another one of the drones out of their airspace.

But getting to the drone was the difficult part. The coordinates the team had been given had shown that the drone crashed in a remote area in Mongolia and so they had to great some very hostile Mongolians that pulled guns on them for just being from out of town. So the guys had had to work on a developing a relationship with the locals and even helping them out by offering to treat some injuries they came across. And so they helped the locals until eventually, the locals put down their guns to tell them what they wanted to know.

They wanted to know where the drone actually fell and it turns out that the actual location hadn’t been in Mongolia because it had crashed tad bit away from their borders. Meaning the drone had crashed in China. So that posed a whole new set of problems. The United States couldn’t exactly tell China that they wanted to send in a team to look for a Russian drone because who knows what the Chinese would do. They could either keep the drone to themselves or offer it up to any nation in exchange for leverage.

So Dalton’s team had been forced to put a pause on everything. They knew that they would still have to get the drone and so they had to figure out the how. How were Dalton’s team going to go in because one way could be considered hostile and the other could be leaving to them to the whims of the Chinese? But Campbell and her team thought it over and they figured out a way. They were going to send Dalton’s team over the board and to keep the Chinese from even getting a whiff about what’s going on, the team would have to go in blind.

Blind meant no remote satellites to monitor the situation, no comms to remain in contact, and no GPS telling them if they’re doing the right or not. But the Chinese had the technology to pick all of those and so Dalton’s team couldn’t risk anyone spotting them entering the country. So they went to old school. They took camels into China and proved to be quite grateful for their camouflage attire when they spotted Russians agents looking for the drone, but no one knew that the Russians knew. They all thought they were unaware until they suddenly learned the truth.

Dalton and his team were forced to deal with a slew of Russian soldiers. But Campbell had been invited out to dinner by the Russian Ambassador and he had more or less told her to back off. The Russians knew that the Americans found out about the drone and they asked to be left to their own devices or else. So Campbell decided to play dirty by pushing them on the “or else”. She later went out with the Chinese Ambassador to make the Russians panic and they did.

The Russians got so worried that the triple the team they sent into China and that in turn had forced Dalton to create a dangerous plan. He had decided that the team should split up. The others were to go to the drone to get what they needed and then met him afterward at predesignated spot though Dalton was going to be leading the Russians to a chase. He sent a message to Washington knowing that they would pick it up and then led them all throughout the forest until he eventually reached the meeting point.

But his people had been a little late to the meeting and Dalton had almost gotten killed while he was waiting for them. So it turned out to be a good thing that he was just so happy to see them that he didn’t care they took longer than he thought and so he asked the important question. Did they get what they needed and thankfully they did. The others had done their part and so it was safe for them to leave China. Which was good for everyone because the actual Chinese eventually entered the fray and they arrested a lot of the people they found illegally in their country.

So the team had finished the job, but Campbell had also had news for them. That tracker they had placed on a known guns’ runner had finally paid off. It was recently revealed that the man behind the attack on them in Turkey wasn’t who they suspected and so they only learned of his name now thanks to Booth who hadn’t wanted anything to do with an attack on Americans.

THE END!
