This week on The Royals everyone is preparing for the celebration of Robert’s (Max Brown) return home. Helena (Elizabeth Hurley) and Robert are having a discussion about Cyrus (Jake Maskall) and how he is going to take to the fact that Robert has risen from the dead to stake his claim to the throne. Robert asks his mother “You don’t think he’ll just go quietly do you?” Helena scoffs and says “I have kicked him off the throne, but I would throw him off the balcony if I could.” Robert laughs and tells her “Now now mother be nice. He is family and this is a time for us to unite.” Helena does not look happy.

Princess Eleanor (Alexandra park) is still in bed when Beck stops in to see her. She asks him “What are you doing here?” He tells her “Officially I am here to be your brother’s escort for the day, but really I am here to see you.” Eleanor tells him “You can’t do that.” He tells her “It’s not like you have a boyfriend.” She looks away. He asks her “You do? Who is he?” Eleanor tells him “None of your business.” She then sends him away.

Liam (William Moseley) is upstairs in his room brooding when there is a knock on his door. He opens it to find Lana (Sasha Jackson) standing there. She says “I came to tell you Robert wants to meet.” Liam asks her “Like a piece of steak?” Sasha shakes her head and says “He wants to see me.” Liam asks her “Is he coming up here?” Sasha says “No. He is waiting downstairs on the motorbike.” Liam says “You should go to him then.” He closes the door as she heads downstairs and stands at the window as they ride away.

Helena and Cyrus have a meeting and she tells him “You need to back off. Robert is getting ready to take the throne.” Helena and Cyrus agree to let Robert take the throne. However, Cyrus goes back on his word and later says in a public news report “The only way a sitting king has ever been dethroned is on the battlefield. So battlefield it is.” When Helena sees this footage she is fire angry. She bursts into Cyrus’ room and tells him “We had a deal.” He looks at her smugly and says “Oh you mean when you barked orders and I pretended to listen?” Helena says “This is not what the people want. They want Robert to be king.” Cyrus sneers again and says “Frankly Robert may never be king.”

Jasper (Tom Austen) confronts Eleanor about seeing Beck (Andrew Cooper) coming out of her room. She tells him “I told him I had a boyfriend.” Jasper seems relieved to hear this, but he is still a bit ticked off. Eventually, the two are able to work it out.

Robert and Beck finally meet up and talk when Robert returns from his picnic. While they are talking Robert is requested to go into the throne room where he is told about Cyrus’ challenge to his throne by his mother. Helena tells him “Cyrus is even threatening to challenge your mental state!” Robert remains calm and tells his mother “Don’t worry about it. I’ll speak with him and I’ll handle it.” Helena does not seem relieved by Robert’s assurances.

Beck confronts Jasper and tells him “Get me a drink.” Jasper tells him “You must be looking for a footman.” Beck tells him “You are out of your class with Eleanor.” Jasper tells him “I always thought it was the best man who won.” The two men continue to argue and finally Beck walks away.

Robert goes to talk to Cyrus. Robert asks him “Where is the man who gave me my first drink, and my second? I thought we were friends.” Cyrus asks him “What will you do now that you have relinquished your blood claim to the throne?” Robert says “I don’t know. I was hoping that you could advise me, uncle.” Cyrus is reluctant to speak. Robert says “You have your hands full battling your former ally Queen Helena.” Cyrus laughs and tells his nephew “Your mother is a drudge.” Robert says “How should we settle this mess about who should be king?” Cyrus suggests a private council. Robert thinks it is a good idea to keep the family struggle out of the press. He asks his uncle “Do you think mom will go for it?” Cyrus smiles wickedly and says “She will if you suggest it.”

Helena finds Liam in the palace. She tries to comfort him by telling him “I know that you were all set to be king and then your brother returned, but you do have a place at the right hand of the future king.” Liam tells her “I know mother. It’s not about that.” She tells him “When we step out on to that balcony I need you to stand behind your brother.” Liam agrees.

Beck goes to Eleanor to apologize for his behavior. Eleanor accepts his apology and the two embrace. Jasper is watching them on the security cameras. When the two break apart Beck looks into the camera and says “You’re not good enough for her. If it’s not me, it’ll be someone like me. You have to know it’ll be someone like me.”

Robert goes to his mother and tells her “I got Cyrus to agree to a private council. No lawyers, No publicity.” Helena is thrilled to hear this. She asks “How did you do that?” Robert tells her “I made him think it was his idea.” Helena is thrilled until she hears Robert’s next statement. He tells her “I gave him the balcony.” Helena says “Why would you do that?” Robert looks at her and asks “Would you rather have the balcony or the throne?” She sighs and says “I guess you’re right, but can I at least get the first wave?” Robert laughs and the two head out.

Eleanor catches up to Jasper and confronts him. She tells him “You have to get Beck and all of those other voices that tell you that I am not good enough for you out of your head.” Jasper tells her “It’s hard when those voices are everywhere.” Eleanor tells him “I love you and that makes us perfect for each other. “

As the family gets ready to head out on to the balcony Jasper bum rushes Beck and drives him to the floor. Beck is quickly escorted out and the family regathers itself to head out and greet the country. When the family steps out everyone is cheering and overjoyed. Robert gives way to Cyrus and there is a royal flyover. Everyone is there except Liam who is playing darts in his room all alone.

THE END!
