Tonight on NBC’s Emmy Award-winning musical competition The Voice airs with an all new Tuesday, April 25, 2017, season 12 episode 20 and we have your The Voice recap right below.  On tonight’s The Voice season 12 episode 20 “Ten artists will be revealed as safe by America’s votes. The bottom two artists will then compete for the Instant Save and one will be eliminated.”

The top 12 singers arrive on stage and Carson immediately announces the first three artists who are safe and will move on to the next show. American saves Brennley Brown (Team Gwen ), Jesse Larson (Team Adam ) and Lauren Duski (Team Blake). They will advance to the Top 11. Adam makes a speech honoring Christina Grimmie and Carson announces the creation of a foundation to address gun violence and cancer. Adam and his team sing Hey Jude in honor of Christina.

The next two safe artists are announced by Carson and they are Vanessa Ferguson (Team Alicia) and Aliyah Moulden (Team Blake). They will become part of the Top 11.

Next up is rapper and producer G-Easy singing Good Life from the movie The Fate and the Furious. 5.8 million voters, voted for their favorite artist on snapchat and the winner of The Voice on Snapchat is Ignatius Carmouche. He is 22 years old and from Tennessee. He is on Team Adam and has been singing since he was 4 years old. He comes to Hollywood and Adam tells him he will participate in the blind auditions next season.

The last seven artists return to the stage to learn that America saved Lilli Passero (Team Adam) and Chris Blue (Team Alicia). They will advance to next week’s show. Blake joins his team on stage to sing Crippled Inside. Carson announces the next two singers to be saved and they are Hunter Plake (Team Gwen) and TSoul (Team Blake). All three of Blake’s team members move on. One more name will be read by Carson and then the remaining two artists will perform. The next singer safe is Stephanie Rice (Team Alicia) which means all of Alicia’s team members are also safe and will move on.

Mark Isaias (Team Adam) and Troy Ramey (Team Gwen) received the fewest votes and will perform in hopes of winning America’s instant save vote. Troy sings Day After Day. Blake loved Troy’s classic song and he encourages the home audience to vote for Troy. He also comments on Troy’s great sense of humor. Mark sings When I Was Your Man. Adam thinks Mark is getting better every day and hopes America can see his true potential. Carson encourages America to tweet in the next five minutes. The artist with the most tweets will move on to the show next week. Mark Isaias (Team Adam) is saved and will move on.
