The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will continue to make vicious power plays and dirty moves. It seems like she holds her former employees responsible for Brash and Sassy’s failure, but she was the one in charge. In the end, Victoria only has herself to blame. She should’ve paid more attention from the get-go.
Victoria didn’t do a very good job of running her company, but Victor’s (Eric Braeden) rewarding her anyway. Daddy bailed Victoria out and is forcing Abby (Melissa Ordway) to report to her. When Abby tried to swallow her pride and congratulate her sister, Victoria just couldn’t help herself. She had to pour salt in the wound by gloating.
Many Y&R fans thought Victoria’s health issue was causing her personality changes, but maybe this is just how she is. Perhaps Victoria’s nonstop outbursts and selfishness are part of her character now. People can change, especially when individuals like Victor coddle them and put them in positions of power.
It feels like there’s a growing desire among Young and the Restless viewers. Most of us would love to see Victoria taken down a notch. It might be time for her to get a taste of her own medicine. Victoria needs to pay for her atrocious behavior, so let’s set the stage for how that could happen.
Victoria certainly isn’t the best and the brightest when it comes to business, so there’s no guarantee she’ll succeed back at Newman. However, this storyline would actually be more satisfying if she did. Victoria might be a big help as Newman recovers from the sex ring scandal. She could propose some great ideas to handle the fallout and bounce back.
Victor might begin to trust Victoria more and more. As he prepares for retirement, Victor might announce that he’s ready to hand everything over to her. Just before Victor passes the torch, Adam Newman could return from the dead! With an Adam Newman recast in town, Victor would probably have to rethink Newman’s future.
Instead of giving Victoria control of Newman, Victor could blindside her and put Adam in charge. Victoria would be outraged, but Abby would think she had it coming. It’s safe to say countless Y&R watchers would feel the same way!
There’s no way Victor could resist putting the Newman golden boy on the throne. Besides, Adam would legitimately be the best option. He wouldn’t be coming into this with loads of recent business scandals like Victor’s other kids.
