The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, February 13, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will fight for what he wants. He’s not happy about Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) plan to buy Brash and Sassy, but he’s not ready to give up yet. Cane will approach Jill (Jess Walton) in a last-ditch effort to stop Victoria’s takeover.
Jill really wants to make Jack (Peter Bergman) an offer for his share of Fenmore’s. She needs some quick cash to make that happen. Victoria will be prepared to make the purchase, but Cane will plead with Jill for a little more time. He’ll beg for a chance to work for himself.
Jill will reluctantly give Cane until the end of the day. It sounds like Cane will scramble to come up with a solution. Will Cane achieve his goal? We’ll have to wait and see, but it’s tough to believe Victoria will truly be defeated.
Y&R has been relying on history a lot lately. Victoria built Brash and Sassy from the ground up, so she’ll probably get it back at some point. Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria will talk about Cane’s attitude. He’ll wonder if Victoria intends on keeping Cane on her staff.
Victoria will suggest that Cane can stay as long as he accepts that she’s the boss. She’ll remain confident that she’s going to own this company again. This Young and the Restless war is about to heat up. Victoria and Cane’s battle could get ugly.
Elsewhere, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will decide she’s had enough of Jack’s nonsense. He’s been making plenty of questionable choices lately and Ashley is just over it. Monday’s preview video shows Ashley saying, “I don’t trust you anymore, brother! If you can’t get it together soon, then I am taking over Jabot.”
It might be nice to see Ashley take charge. Victor (Eric Braeden) is grooming Abby (Melissa Ordway) over at Newman Enterprises, which means she could end up on the throne one day. If Jabot and Newman clash, we could see Ashley and Abby face off. Mother CEO versus daughter CEO! Wouldn’t that matchup be fun?
Regardless, you can bet that the corporate conflict will continue. Gloria (Judith Chapman) could push Ashley over the edge. It’s clear that big trouble is brewing.
