The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 5, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will have an important meeting with Scott (Daniel Hall). Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has been insisting that Victor’s memoir needs to be nixed. Now it looks like Victor is going to echo that idea. Scott will be bummed when Victor contends that there’s going to be no book.
Of course, Victor can’t stop Scott from digging around anyway. Biography or no biography, Scott is a truth-seeker. He could uncover some dangerous secrets if he goes down this path. Victor isn’t the kind of guy who tolerates people who don’t respect his wishes.
Meanwhile, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will take the opportunity to gloat about her upcoming date. When she mentions that she doesn’t want to be late, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will wonder what’s in store. Mariah will state that Devon (Bryton James) is taking her for a ride on his private jet. Hilary will give Mariah an evil glare. Her jealousy is really raging at this point.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Mariah will put some spice in their romance on Friday. Mariah is falling for Devon, but their hot encounter may be partially motivated by Hilary. It’s clear that Mariah wants to stick it to her rival.
Other Y&R spoilers reveal that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will run into a familiar face. It seems Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) and Chelsea have some sort of history together. The Young and the Restless preview video shows Jordan saying, “So we’re agreeing not to let anyone know about our former friendship.”
Chelsea will look uncomfortable during this conversation. Perhaps their past comes with a scandal. Y&R fans will recall that Chelsea used to be a con artist. It’s possible that she teamed up with Jordan at one time. Was he a con artist, too? If so, big trouble could be brewing. Jordan may still have a shady side that will rear its ugly head soon enough.
It’s also possible that Jordan and Chelsea were simply friends with benefits or something along those lines. Maybe he took some nude photos of her as well. Whatever the case, you can bet that their secret will get out eventually. It’s hard to keep things quiet for long in Genoa City.
