The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chloe Faked Adam's Death - Freed Hostage Returns To Genoa City?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease one of the great storyline bombshell’s in recent Y&R history is about to be dropped. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) didn’t kill Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) in September, 2016. Instead, she drugged him with a dart gun and then used a prop plane to fly her hostage away from Genoa City. Boom!

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that the cabin explosion was a ruse intended to enable the Genoa City Police Department to confirm Adam’s demise. All the while Adam has been held captive so that he can suffer a fate worse than death. Forthcoming answers to this excruciating mystery will be believable. They’ll fit with existing evidence and allow Adam fans to maintain hope that this great character will return to Genoa City again.

Viewers haven’t forgotten that an initially disguised Chloe pulled a gun on Adam in front of a gathered crowd at a memorial for Delia (Sophie Pollono) in Chancellor Park. Chloe later tried to kill Adam by running him down with a vehicle, which was an attempted replay of what she believed he did to her daughter. It should be noted that conclusive evidence never confirmed him as the actual accidental killer.

Last year Chloe was recruited by Victor (Eric Braeden) to frame Adam for the murder of Constance Bingham (Sally Kellerman). Her resultant double-cross of The Moustache forced Adam to go to prison, which wasn’t Victor’s intent.

Chloe then planted of a tracking device in Connor’s (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) plush toy dinosaur which allowed her to target Adam yet again late last summer. Clearly she’s never released her rage against this embattled man. Having demonstrated the capacity to do whatever it takes to exact revenge it makes total sense that Chloe wouldn’t be happy with merely killing Adam.

Exiting Chadam’s penthouse through a secret passageway, Chloe went to the cabin with a loaded dart gun. If she merely wanted Adam dead, Chloe would have taken a gun and shot him. But her plans involved sedating the man, working with at least one other person to take him from the cabin and putting him on the prop plane viewers were shown in the scenes leading up to the explosion.
