The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) and Gloria’s (Judith Chapman) complicated romance may continue. They’re not even sure what they’re doing. Gloria and Jack aren’t exactly in love, but they’re still enjoying their romps in the sack. They’ll probably hit the sheets even more in the coming weeks.
Of course, suspicions are already starting to emerge. The Young and the Restless fans will recall that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) recently got a big clue. She saw Jack and Gloria walking up to a suite within seconds of each other. It doesn’t take a genius to solve that puzzle.
Michael (Christian LeBlanc) has been noticing their closeness as well. He spotted Gloria rubbing Jack’s shoulders and now he fears what might be ahead. Is Jack really playing Gloria as part of a larger scheme? It’s certainly possible. However, it’s equally possible that Jack just likes their sex sessions.
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is curious about the new woman in Jack’s life, but she’s trying to stay out of it. She told Jack that she only wants him to be happy. Phyllis has also been bonding with Ravi (Abhi Sinha), who’s constantly being rejected by Ashley (Eileen Davidson). What’s all of this building up to?
Phyllis will undoubtedly get together with someone pretty soon. Her attempts at online dating haven’t panned out, but maybe a spark will ignite with Ravi. If he officially gives up on Ashley, he could let himself get closer to Phyllis.
Then again, maybe The Young and the Restless isn’t ready to drop Jack and Phyllis as a pairing. Sally Sussman, Y&R’s head writer, seems to like the idea of slow-burn romances. She doesn’t want to rush things, especially if there’s been a lot of pain in a broken relationship. Perhaps we’re slowly moving toward a “Phack” reunion.
Michael is concerned about Jack hurting Gloria, but what if it ends up being the other way around? Who knows what Gloria has up her sleeve? Even if Gloria doesn’t have anything planned, trouble could still be brewing. Let’s say Gloria and Jack decide that they’re ready to take a step forward in their relationship. They could consider going public.
Just before they take that leap, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack could have a moment of weakness. Phyllis and Jack could indulge in a hot hookup. How would Gloria react? She could easily target both of them for revenge. Gloria could gain access to important info at Jabot. She could obviously swipe Fenmore’s info, too.
Gloria might have to go down with the sinking ship, but it would be worth it. Will Gloria seek vengeance if Jack is drawn to Phyllis? We’ll give you updates as other news comes in.
