The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Juliet (Laur Allen) will eventually realize that filing a baseless sexual harassment lawsuit against Brash and Sassy was wrong. But Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will win regardless of who loses this legal battle. Her intent was to strike Lane in the heart and she’s done that.
Juliet knows that Cane (Daniel Goddard) didn’t harass her, or use his position to get her fired. She doubts what Hilary has coerced her into doing, which could prove problematic to her legal standing. For his part, Cane didn’t want Juliet working at Brash and Sassy’s home office. However, many of the things he said to Victoria about Juliet will likely sound damning during any potential testimony.
Sexual harassment issues are deeply divisive and often highly subjective, which is exactly what wealthy attorneys like. Who cares if people’s lives are ruined, as long as various legal leeches bank plenty of coin. Standing aside of those blood-suckers is one Ann Turner.
Don’t know who Turner is? Oh, that’s the real name of liar Hilary Curtis, formerly Hilary Winters and Hilary Hamilton. And Miss Turner-Curtis (yes, Hilary should officially marry herself) is currently manipulating Juliet’s mailable mind.
Miss Helton was tapped by Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to assist Cane with language barrier and cultural interpretation issues in Tokyo, Japan, a few months ago. She proved to be a key third-party hire, as Cane behaved oddly and nearly blew Brash and Sassy’s Asian region deal.
After Mr. Sato’s (Richard Narita) business was secured, Cane and Juliet had too much to drink. Later that night they spent the night together in Cane’s hotel room. Mr. Ashby broke his marital vows for the first time in his life, but didn’t recall doing so until Juliet mentioned that terrible fact a few days later in Genoa City.
Fast-forward a few months. Cane allowed his ongoing rivalry with Billy (Jason Thompson) to muscle out his conscience. He setup Mr. Abbott to look like a fool during a Professional Hockey League commercial shoot in California. But Vickie opted to fire Juliet for her rushed mistake in that ordeal instead of her ex-husband.
Hilary later overheard Cane and Juliet talking about their night together. Miss Turner-Curtis confronted Juliet and convinced her to file suit against Brash and Sassy. Now, all is about to implode in Cane’s world because he was named in the suit. Vickie became the first victim, now Lily (Christel Khalil) is next.
