The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates for the Wednesday, March 1, new episode tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will have some concerns about his new project. He was initially excited when Victoria (Ameila Heinle) announced she was trusting him with a huge rollout. Victoria said she wanted to prove that she valued Cane’s contributions.

After Cane’s successful meeting, he was even more convinced this would be a big opportunity. Unfortunately, doubts will begin to creep in. Y&R spoilers say Cane will eventually decide this offer might be some sort of smokescreen. He’ll suspect Victoria is trying to conceal her true intentions.

Cane will confront Victoria in Wednesday’s episode. He’ll wonder if Victoria just came up with a clever way of getting him out of her hair. Victoria will likely suggest that Cane is being ridiculous. However, there may be some truth to Cane’s accusations. He’s certainly been a pain in Victoria’s side lately.

Meanwhile, Colin (Tristan Rogers) will take the key he found to City Trust and Savings. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Colin will locate the correct lockbox and use the key to open it. His jaw will drop when he sees the massive ring inside.

Perhaps Colin can use his discovery to make some progress with Jill (Jess Walton). They could sell it and get a nice chunk of money. This could at least put a dent in the amount Colin lost. Then again, maybe Jill will be too sentimental about it. She may want to keep it as a reminder of Katherine (Jeanne Cooper).

In that case, Jill would appreciate the fact that Colin tracked down something so special. Colin could always sell it before showing it to Jill, but it’s tough to believe he would risk infuriating her like that. If Colin knows what’s good for him, he’ll give Jill updates on the bling.

Elsewhere, Victor (Eric Braeden) will do his best to guide Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) through negotiations. He agreed to help them get Scott (Daniel Hall) back, but he wants to be careful. They shouldn’t hand over such a large ransom without some evidence.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren will demand to see a picture of her son. She’ll insist that the captors aren’t getting anything until she has proof that Scott’s alive.
