The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will try to bring Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) together. Things have been tense since Faith came home from camp, but Nick believes they can handle this. He’s hoping Faith and Chelsea will learn to feel like part of the same family.
Nick might make some progress this week, but Y&R fans know Faith can be a bit unpredictable. Plus, Victor (Eric Braeden) will continue to influence his granddaughter. Once Victor and Nick’s fighting revs back up, Faith could start acting out again. Chelsea may be at the end of her rope pretty soon.
Of course, we also have to consider Sharon’s (Sharon Case) upcoming news. Once she reveals she’s dating Scott (Daniel Hall), Faith may freak over more changes. She might decide to devise a parent trap.
Every now and then, Faith revisits the idea of Sharon and Nick getting back together. We’re probably due for another The Young and the Restless reunion scheme at some point. Faith may feel like it would be the answer to all her problems, but it would undoubtedly create more – at least initially.
Nick arguably seems to love Chelsea more than she loves him. She cares about Nick, but the connection she had with Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) can never be replaced. If the drama with Faith gets any worse, Chelsea may decide to bow out of this romance. There’s only so much she can take.
Chelsea was hesitant to let Nick move in anyway. She’s losing her independence and gaining a problematic kid. Having Victor and Nick at odds certainly won’t help Chelsea feel at ease. We can’t forget that Victor and Chelsea are keeping Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity a secret.
Will Victor eventually reach his breaking point? Will he deliver the ultimate blow? The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that some shockers could be looming. If Nick finds out Christian isn’t his son, he’s going to be crushed. The double whammy will be the fact that Chelsea knew and didn’t tell him.
It’s doubtful Nick and Chelsea’s relationship could survive that. Faith could get her wish after all. Y&R could be laying the groundwork for two major reunions. “Shick” shippers would love to see Sharon and Nick give their romance another shot. Likewise, “Chadam” fans would be on cloud nine if Chelsea could reunite with a solid Adam recast.
